Peniel is not just an event.
3 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT PENIEL

There are many beautiful things about Peniel, but for me, it is more than just a yearly camp meeting. It is a divine appointment, a time of spiritual exercise, refreshing, celebration, and transition into another era of what God is doing.

Here are 3 things I love about Peniel:

1. THE PRESENCE OF GOD 🕊️
One of the things I deeply love about Peniel is the atmosphere of God's presence. There is something special about coming together with other believers, setting everything else aside, and simply seeking God. It is a time to be strengthened, refreshed, renewed, and reminded of what truly matters.

2. THE PEOPLE & FELLOWSHIP
Peniel gives me the opportunity to meet and connect with amazing members of the Sophia Fountain family. I love the fellowship, the conversations, the laughter, the worship, and the beautiful memories we create together. There is a unique joy that comes from being surrounded by people who are also hungry for God and passionate about His purpose.

3. THE EXPECTATION OF WHAT GOD IS ABOUT TO DO
Perhaps one of my favourite things about Peniel is the expectation. I always come believing that God has something prepared for me and for everyone. There are blessings, encounters, revelations, and new beginnings that God has embedded in each gathering. I love the anticipation of stepping into another season of refreshing and seeing what God will unfold.

Last year was my first Peniel since joining the ministry to serve, and it was an unforgettable experience. Now, I look forward to another encounter, another celebration, another refreshing, and another opportunity to see God move.

Peniel is not just an event. It is an encounter. It is a gathering. It is a transition. It is a time of refreshing.

And I can't wait to see what God has in store this year!

I workedddddd… and I deliberately scheduled part of my annual leave just to be in God’s presence PENIEL 2026!!!

Immediately this year began, I marked out my plans. No matter how busy work might get, I must be in Peniel 2026! Tell me why I shouldn’t? Ahhhh, it’s Peniel o! 😂

So yeah, I workedddddd… and I deliberately scheduled part of my annual leave just to be in God’s presence. That alone tells you how much Peniel means to me.

You might frequently see me in the kitchen, but yeah, I’ve got my favorite moments in Peniel.

First, the conversations with the married in Christ.
Before I got married, this particular session always stood out to me the moments when we sit with the married in Christ at dusk and listen to them share their real-life experiences, wisdom, and gist with us. Oh my my! There was always something to learn, something to laugh about, and something to carry home.

Then, there’s fellowship over food.
That moment when it’s time to eat and you’re happily eating with the brethren… there’s just a different kind of joy that comes with it. It’s not even just about the food; it’s the fellowship, the laughter, the conversations, and the feeling of being surrounded by your people.

And finally, the two Ps: Peniel Praises and Prayer.
Ahyaaaaaaaa! Some things simply cannot be expressed in words, and I wish I could explain it! The atmosphere, the worship, the prayers, the presence of God… you just have to experience it for yourself.

That’s Peniel for me fellowship, growth, joy, and an encounter with God. ❤️
