**People have many reasons to be angry or can be angry for many reasons and as it is said; the heart is not made up of bones.
The journey to our anger should be very slow.
Anger is defined as *violent passion*. It is the emotion of instant displeasure on account of something evil that displays itself to our view.
Dangers of Anger:
Anger stirs up strife Prv. 29:22
The tendency to transfer aggression is very easy for someone who has anger issues. A man who is angry infects other people with his irrepressible emotions. Anger is the doorway to many other sins
Anger could lead to murder Gen. 49:6-9
No matter how angry we get, we must remember that we are not judges.
Anger can stop us from getting into God's promise Num. 20:2-13
There is a promise upon each child of God
God will never bend His principles to let anyone fit in; your anger will not change God's principles.
**Anger hinders wisdom, it clouds good judgement.
When we act in anger we have great chances of committing sin.
Prv. 17:15 A quick tempered man does foolishly
Anger kills from within Job 5:1
Untamed anger could destroy relationships
An angry man will lose his mind and then lose his soul.
How to deal with anger:
James 1:19
1. Be Quick To Listen
Ask questions, do not be in a hurry to respond or act. Listen to understand and not to react.
2. Be Slow To Speak
When you're angry, say little our few words of even say nothing at all. When we open our mouths to speak we reveal ourselves.
Ask questions rather than making statements.
3. Be Slow To Wrath Prv. 25:1
When you're angry, always remember, the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God
We can't choose situations that come our way but we can choose how we respond to them.
