King Jeroboam was provoked, angry and aghast when he heard the prophecy of the man of God against the Altar. He decided that the prophet be arrested. He went beyond talking to acting, stretching out his hand towards the man of God as he sought for his arrest, but his hand immediately withered and dried such that he could not withdraw it anymore. Power pass power!

Jeroboam therefore became the guilty party, what the prophet Isaiah referred to as ‘the lawful captive’ [Isaiah 49:24], for he was responsible for the calamity that befell him. But the king did not waste time to plead with the man of God to pray on his behalf to God for mercy and restoration. And God responded by mercifully restoring his hand fully, and it became as it was before. [13:6].

THE MESSAGE:
God has and retains all the power to judge, to punish and to restore men of their health and any other critical losses in this life. His word says, ‘.... for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me’[Isa. 49:23b]. God’s mercies are new every morning; and if not for this truth, we would all have been consumed by now.

God will be merciful unto you. His door of mercy and restoration is still open to all those who will cry to him. It is not important what you have lost, God is the God of all flesh and nothing is too hard for him to do. [Jer. 32:26-27]. As you go on your knees to repent and ask for his mercies today, be assured that you will be restored of every loss around your life.

God can restore every material thing lost to the enemy [1 Sam. 30:8]; He can restore your health no matter how long you have remained grounded in this life [John 5:5-8]; indeed Jesus can restore the good life you have lost as he did for Lazarus of Bethany. [John 11:14, 39-44]. Jesus cleansed and restored Zacchaeus from his sins and guilts and brought reconciliation between Zacchaeus and God, as well as brought peace between Zacchaeus and the people from whom he had extorted monies as a tax collector. Nothing is impossible for God to do. I believe that your time of restoration has come, it is here, it is today!

PRAYER:
Standing on the authority of his word, of the blood of Jesus, and of the name that is above every other name, I stand in the gap on behalf of all who will read this message and believe in Christ Jesus, to decree and to declare by the same authority that, whatever it is that you have lost in this life shall be fully restored to you. This season God will surprise you and your family; those who know your previous condition will see Gods mercy and restoration over your life and will give him the glory. God will restore you to eternal life, and you will sing a new song to the glory of the Most High, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen!

BUILD & STRENGTHEN YOUR FAITH

The heroes of faith listed and described in the Book of Hebrews, never had Bibles like you and I do today. They heard the message of God through oral transmission but mostly by inspiration and revelation, they believed every word and every promise, obeyed and held unto it till death. The promises they held to came to pass only after they are gone to the great beyond, but they came to pass all the same. A faithful believer therefore is not he who receives all biblical promises when he is still alive; rather, it is he who believes every word of scripture he hears, is tagged a fool and bigot, lives a not very rewarding life, but who held fast to his faith and trusted God till the end. God promised the sons of Jacob to give them the city of Jericho after they left Egypt, and to fulfill his word to those who believed he ensured that no weapon was used and no single bullet was fired to bring down and to overthrow Jericho, because Power Pass Power. Every Jericho standing between you and eternity stands dismantled, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

THE MESSAGE:
The Holy scriptures say, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. [Rom. 10:17]. To receive your own promise, whether here on earth or in heaven, you need to build and strengthen your faith, and you need to stand firm on it. Joshua and the priests, in faith, received divine instructions concerning Jericho, though it did not make any sense at all, they believed it, obeyed it and their expectations came to fulfillment. Make it a point of duty from now onwards to saturate your life with the living word; to hear the word constantly, and to build and strengthen your faith. Without faith, no matter your position in church, ministry or life, God is not pleased. May your faith grow bigger and become stronger than your fears, to pave way for the fulfillment of every word and every promise of God in your life.

PRAYER/PROPHECY:
Dear Father, I pray and prophesy for everyone reading this message, whatever stands as a hindrance to building his faith in Christ Jesus, let it be dismantled this hour. Give him inner strength, purpose, and the light of your word to enable him stand in faith till the end, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Man glories in everything that he possesses, or in what other men have ascribed to him, or in what he thinks in his heart that he has achieved. So different men glory in different things: some glory in their wisdom and intellect; some in their riches and in wealth, some even glory in ill gotten possessions; some in transient position and power; some in their evil exploits - setting up men for destruction or death; yet some glory in their earthly connections and prowess. Some are professional killers who are in high demand because of their ability to deliver; some glory in their ability to manipulate situations and circumstances for earthly benefits. Yet some glory in the signs and wonders that the Almighty had wrought through their hands and are busy building tabernacles around such exploits. But God says through his prophet, glory not in all these things, for they are of no significance in my kingdom. Glory in that you know me fully.

There is nothing wrong with having possessions, riches, position, power, connection, and the spiritual gifts that God gives to men. The word of God says ‘every good gift, and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variables, neither shadow of turning’ [James 1:18]. The challenge therefore is when men glory in the wrong things, in those things which are transient, temporary and vain; instead of glorying in the full and proper knowledge of whom God is. Glorying in created things turns man into an idolater whose heart has turned away from the one true and righteous God, to cherish, honour and worship created things and idols of this world. Think about this things.

THE MESSAGE:
If you must glory as a believer and follower [disciple] of Christ Jesus, glory only in your full knowledge of whom God is. If you glory in the LORD, you delight yourself in him and you set up yourself for greater glory. The word says, ‘delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of your heart.’ Psalms 37:4. The true desire in a man’s heart is the certainty and assurance of his eternal destiny which only God can assure and guarantee. Glory in the Lord and open the doors of your access into his eternal glory. May God’s wisdom guide and keep you on the right track.

PRAYER:
On this first day of the seventh month, Lord, open my eyes and the eyes of my mind to see you more, to know you more and what you stand for; and to glory only in my knowledge of the one true, righteous and living God. Amen.

GOD WILL OPEN YOUR EYES:
And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight. [Luke 24:30-31 KJV]

The Journey to Emmaus:
On their way to Emmaus after the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus from the dead, Peter and Cleophas encountered and were joined by Jesus on the way, but they did not recognize him neither did they know it was Jesus. Even when he joined in their exhilarating discussion on the resurrection and spoke to them extensively about the prophecy, purpose, events that led to the crucifixion and to the resurrection, these two still doubted all that had happened before their very own eyes.

The two invited Jesus to stay the night with them when they realized it was already getting too late to continue his journey. And while on the dinner table with them, Jesus brake bread, blessed it and gave them to eat. As soon as they ate the bread, their eyes opened and it was revealed to them that all this while it was with Jesus that they had been traveling and chatting. It was this event that served to validate the story of the resurrection for Simon and Cleophas, and gave them the message that the other disciples had been waiting for. Thenceforth, they became witnesses for Christ Jesus.

LORD, OPEN OUR EYES:
Are you still doubting the prophecy, the purpose and the events leading to the virgin birth of Jesus Christ? Do you still seek proofs of the genuineness of Jesus’ ministry, his miracles, sufferings, crucifixion and resurrection? So also were Simon and Cleophas until they encountered Christ again. They still doubted all these things until they met Jesus, ate bread from the same table with him and had their understanding and vision opened in an instant.

I invite you today to the table where Jesus brakes bread and serves wine that gives life and opens the understanding of men. Come to his presence, eat the bread of life that he offers you, let God open your eyes that you may behold great signs and wonders and understand those things that never used to make sense to you before now. Get up now and visit a bible believing church near you, join in the worship fellowship, and seize the privilege to partake in the eating and drinking of the bread and wine of life. Your life will never remain the same again. God will open your eyes and release to you great wisdom and understanding of the message of salvation through grace.

PRAYER/PROPHECY:
Dear Father; the Holy One of Israel, thank you for opening my eyes to behold the great wonders in Your word [bread of life]. My prayer at this hour is on behalf of all who still doubt the prophecy and manifestation of the purpose for which Your only begotten Son died on the cross. Open the eyes of all those who still have doubts; open the eyes of their understanding; validate all past events with current signs and wonders, and let all who believe experience a refreshing turnaround in their life. Let it be so, LORD, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen🙏🏾

If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. [John 15:19 | NIV]

NO OTHER REASON:
You will read and hear many different reasons given by prominent academics, public analysts, writers, experts in security, agriculture, atmosphere, climate and weather as to why “herdsmen” are attacking selected communities in Nigeria. Government agents and agencies also have contrived and are spreading their own theories of why herdsmen are attacking innocent and peace loving communities in selected parts of the north.

Some have cited desert encroachment and reduced fodder for cattle. Some refer to receding water lines and water scarcity. Experts say climate change and global warming is the cause. University dons are agreed that the marauding bandits are occupiers sent to capture and occupy strategic locations. All these and many other researchers have given their reasons why innocent and peace loving communities of the MiddleBelt Nigeria would not know peace, but some more researchers are still looking for the main cause.

If you are one of them, go no further. There is no other reason than the one given by Christ himself: they will hate you as long as long as you refuse to join and belong to the world. The world that uses its own hand to create and worship its own gods. The world that keeps it’s gods as standby generators to be resorted to only when there is power failure. The world whose god does not see nor hear any evil. The world that has set its own standards different from the one set by its Creator. This is the world you must belong to otherwise you will forever remain a prey.

STAND FIRM WHERE YOU ARE:
These hostilities will continue till the end of time, but the scriptures teach us that those who endure till the end will be saved. [Matthew 24:13]. Jesus said to his followers that ‘in this world, you will face tribulations, but I have overcome the world.’ [John 16:33]. The psalmist says, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers them from all. [Psalms 34:19]. Every challenge you face has expiry date. No matter what you face in this world, pray and do not faint. Obey the commandments of your Maker and set yourself to receive the eternal crown on the last day.

PRAYER:
Dear LORD, thank You for the foreknowledge about these things. Thank you for being there always to comfort us. It is our fervent prayer that your peace which passes human comprehension shall permeate our lives and keep us to the end, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen!
