When you walk through the ECWA Gospel 2 Jenta, Jos Church gate what’s the first thing you look forward to?
The worship? The Word? Seeing your people? Or just being in God’s presence?

For our members in Diaspora, what do you miss about ?

A moment from our Sunday service as Rev. Iliya Dan’azumi took us through James 1:6-8 on “Prayers Without Doubting God’s Promises.”

We were reminded that faith is the foundation of effective prayer - the ability to trust God, hold on to Jesus, and remain confident in His promises even when the answers seem delayed or circumstances become difficult.

It is easy to trust God when everything is going well, but true faith is revealed when we choose to keep believing even in the midst of persecution, challenges, and uncertainty.

A lamp that burns is meant to light another.

The Youth Week Round Up, service reminded us that discipleship is not just about following Christ, but about living a life that inspires others to do the same. As we keep our lamps burning, may we remain yielded to the Holy Spirit, committed to prayer, and intentional about raising others in the faith.

Every Timothy needs a Paul, and every burning lamp should light another.

We remember the days when our roof was the sky, our walls were still rising, and rain or sunshine never stopped us from gathering to worship.

Today, every block standing is a testimony. Every corner carries the fingerprints of faith, sacrifice, generosity, and love.

We are still building, but we are also living proof that God never abandons what He starts.

To every hand that gave, every knee that prayed, every heart that believed, and every seed sown in cash or in kind - thank you.

We are not there yet, but we will never forget where God brought us from. All glory belongs to Him.

Another week in church. Expectant hearts. Smiles, fellowship, and a hunger for God's presence.

As we gather with great anticipation, we believe that every service is another opportunity to encounter Jesus, grow in His Word, and keep the flame of discipleship burning.

This is what 'our before the service begins' looks like. In the presence of God there is fullness of joy indeed 😁🙏

What a beautiful way to round off ECWA Gospel Two YF Week!

From the vibrant colours that filled the church to the passion, joy, and unity displayed by every young person, it was a reminder that this generation is called to shine for Christ.

As our anthem declares:

Hold out your light, ECWA Youth members, hold out your light. Let your light shine all the way.

The colours may fade, but may the fire remain. May we continue to hold out our light wherever God has placed us, pointing others to Christ and leaving a lasting impact.

Kudos to the amazing leaders and all members that made it worthwhile 🙏

It was indeed the Youth Purple Christmas. See you next year!💜
