[2] and He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal.

*TOPIC:*
EMPOWERED TO PREACH

*THE MESSAGE:*
Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching, preaching and healing every disease and sickness (Mt.9:35). He commissioned and conferred upon the apostles the power to proclaim the kingdom, as well as casting out demons and healing the sick. This demonstrates God's compassion and power to restore wholeness to individuals. Those who believe the message become members of God's kingdom. They have the responsibility of reaching out to sinners as well as attending to the needs of those that are plagued with diseases and other life challenges. As a believer, do you know that the resurrection power resides in you and has empowered you to preach the wholistic gospel? Appropriate the power.

*REFLECTION:*
You are empowered to preach.

*PRAYER:*
Lord, thank You for sharing Your authority with me, Amen.

*MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
1 CORINTHIANS 15:13.
"If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised".

DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST
(COCIN DEVOTIONAL)

DATE:
FRIDAY 25TH APRIL, 2025

SUB-THEME:
POWER OF RESURRECTION

TOPIC:
ABILITY TO FORGIVE

TEXT:
COLOSSIANS 3:12-13
12. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
13. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

TOPIC:
ABILITY TO FORGIVE

THE MESSAGE:
God has graciously forgiven us through Christ. As His beloved children, we are called to bear with one another and forgive everyone that has wronged or caused us grieves and pains. Jesus forgave His offenders without holding it against them (Lk. 23:34). To forgive like Christ, we must clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience and love, which is the binding force. Are you holding any grudge against someone or harbouring bitterness and unforgiveness? Have you set a condition before forgiving your offenders? Remember, God forgave you freely and gave you the ability to do same to your offenders (Mt. 6:15). Forgive others and free yourself of unnecessary hurts and pains.

REFLECTION:
Have you forgiven all your offenders?

PRAYER:
Father, show me the people I need to forgive. Amen.

MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:
1 CORINTHIANS 15:13.
"If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised".
