Revelation 20:11

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

This verse paints a picture of God's supreme authority and holiness. On that day, every person will stand before His great white throne, and nothing will be able to hide from His presence.
Knowing that this day is certain should move us to live lives that honour God and prepare our hearts for eternity.

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Jesus Christ will judge both the living and the dead when He appears. This reminds us that no one is outside His authority and every life will give an account before Him.
May this truth encourage us to remain faithful to God's Word and live each day in readiness for His coming.

Romans 14:13

Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

God has not called us to condemn one another but to help one another remain faithful. Instead of finding faults, we should be careful that our words and actions do not lead others into sin.
As we await God's judgment, let us choose to build others up and live in love toward one another.

WORD FOR THE WEEK

Comfort Kills!

Comfort is not always a blessing. Sometimes, it is the very thing keeping us from becoming who God has called us to be.

We avoid difficult decisions, uncomfortable conversations, discipline, sacrifice, and the stretching that comes with growth. We become so comfortable where we are that we lose the desire to become who God is calling us to be.

“Woe to those who are at ease in Zion!”
- Amos 6:1

Quit choosing comfort over growth. Stop allowing convenience to keep you from obedience. Quit settling for where you are when God is calling you forward.

This week, step out and take responsibility, pursue discipline, and obey God even when it is not convenient.

Have a blessed week, and remember to stay out of trouble.
