What are drugs?
Any chemical substance that influences biological processes when introduced into the body.
A substance that can change a person's physical or mental state.
Did God create drugs?
Yes. God created everything with purpose and precision. His creation is perfect and without mistakes (Genesis 5:1–3).

Medicines are among the things that can be used for good, but we must remember that God is our first source of healing, and He is the One who gives medicine its effectiveness.
Purpose of drugs
To treat diseases.
To relieve symptoms.
To prevent diseases.
To support mental health when appropriately prescribed.
Dangers of drug misuse
Loss of focus and concentration.
Mental and physiological disorders.

Risk of becoming a burden to oneself and society.
Addiction, which may also be influenced by family history and genetics.
Our responsibility as Christians
Pray for those struggling with drug abuse.
Teach others about the dangers of drug misuse.
Share the gospel and encourage people to turn to Christ.
How can we help someone struggling with addiction?

Show them compassion, just as Jesus would.
Point them to God and remind them that He is able to restore and heal.
If the addiction is severe, encourage them to seek help through a godly rehabilitation centre alongside spiritual support.

Takeaway: Drugs have their proper place when used rightly, but they should never replace our trust in God. As believers, we are called to use wisdom, care for others, and always point people to Christ, who is the ultimate source of hope and healing.
