Mission Possible!!!
The mission and ministry of evangelism is the driving force of the church.
The saving power of the gospel that draws people to Christ is first local in its experience. What the holy spirit does in the life of believers is the testimony of the validity of the power of the gospel, beyond church attendance and all other activities in the church, the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ demands a corresponding ethical response visible in the life of the believer, in the demonstration of kindness, politeness, humility, simplicity, integrity and in all the demonstration of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The whole of the scriptures- the bible becomes the one major text book of the nurturing, guiding and building the body of Christ.
Col 2:6-8
“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.”

Local Bible schools are the most significant and the most important catechetical institutions of recruiting, training and discipling of those who will run with the ministry and mission of evangelism from everywhere to everywhere. Fellowship of believers becomes a fellowship of an unbroken chain of young, old, children, and elderly followers of Christ in an unending cycle of passing the faith from one generation to another
2 Tim 2:2
“and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.”

Zambiri Missions is bringing good news to all people, a mission of the gospel for all people from cradle to grave!!!

MISSION POSSIBLE !!!
THE INDUCTION OF VEN. DR. TUNDE T. YUSUF AS RECTOR
REFORMATION CENTRE FOR CATECHETICAL AND MISSION TRAINING FOR MINISTRY AND POST-GRADUATE STUDIES

Acts 1:8
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

i. The word power used by Jesus in Greek is dunamis from which the word dynamite comes. The power expected is not a docile experience that domesticates the believer and restricts him into a doormat.

ii. When this power comes upon you, it will be visible, tangible and testified by public viewers. I must say the power of the Holy Spirit is quite a spectacle in the eyes of men. Conversion

iii. This power transforms a person into a transformer NOT just a good wonderful decoration in society but a freedom fighter, a hard worker, a pioneer, a social reformer, a community builder, a leader, an explorer, a risk-taker, an educationalist, an honest entrepreneur, a voice for the voiceless poor, orphans, widows, oppressed etc. in order to institute and create an environment for the rule of God amongst men on earth.

B. PURPOSE OF MISSION
And you will be my witnesses . . . . Acts 1:8b

A witness can only say what he has seen or experienced or what he knows to be true.

i. Peter and the rest were waiting for the coming of the Holy spirit.
Acts 2 the rushing of a mighty wind
The tongues of fire
They were filled

ii. Peter testifies
2:14, 2:40
4:8 4:20

iii. Stephen testifies Acts 7:2
Philip in Samaria 8:5
Saul in synagogues 9:20
iv. Henry Venn, CMS, Karl Kumm SUM, Bingham SIM etc ....
C. SCOPE OF MISSION
In Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria and to the eds of the earth .... v.8c

This is where actual mission begins to make news, impact and meaning. As soon as the power of the Hoy Spirit comes upon a person, the whole impact of v8 begins to happen simultaneously.

The conversion experience
The urgency
The geography concerns
i. The home front and personal discipleship along with fellowship building in the immediate community including training in witnessing

ii. Keeping the incubator warm and healthy for new babies (converts) while the urgency for reaching the nearest communities is in progress.

iii. Looking out for unreached areas of the world ... they are waiting

CONCLUSION

The power for mission is remarkably different from any other power

* The Holy Spirit empowers you to do the good you have always wished to do but could not ...
* The Holy Spirit gives courage to confront evil
* The Holy Spirit uses ordinary human words testifying to the gospel to break hearts and bring people to repentance.
* The Holy Spirit is the only source of power from God for God’s Mission here on earth.

* Take time and give God the chance to come upon you in the power of the Holy Spirit to empower you for Mission from here to everywhere to eternity ....

Mission is Possible!!!
John 9:4
"We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work."

The call to gospel missions and actual missionary life is not without risk, it is a call for a life of sacrifice, commitment, consecration, generosity, and consistently taking up of the cross,

Luke 9:22-23
saying, “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.”
And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Zambiri mission has accepted the call of missions, “from Zambiri to the world.”
The mission of the gospel is passed from one generation to another, and it takes only one generation for the fire to be quenched, this is a warning for all gospel mission enterprise.
The visits of our friends, families, and partners is to rededicate ourselves to this mission in this generation and the next, and especially to the generation of our grandchildren, who will in turn take it to the next generation after them, to the third and fourth generations.

Phil 2:13
"for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure."

Mission Possible !!!
Paying homage to our royal father's palace, and a generous welcome to our guests, and the blessing of Ngas Land with special prayers for the completion of the palace of Ngolon Ngas
The assets of gospel friendship and the Holy Spirit-led goodwill are unquantifiable!
The Anglican mission came first to Panyam in 1906 then to Ngas land in Kabwir in 1907. The CMS/CUMP missionary from Cambridge had a great opening, as they were sent by God to the Bauchi highlands. The mission was so successful that by 1919, the first set of evangelists from St Paul’s Catechist school were graduated, and by 1921, the Book of Common Prayer, as translated by SPCK, was published for use.
Between 1941 and 1942, Baptism, funerals and confirmation services, together with some hymns, were already in use by Bishop Smith using the Ngas language.
“Rom 10:15 "And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
Our heritage is the gospel
Our inheritance is the gospel.
Who we are and who we shall be is explained in the eternal, glorious gospel.
