GOD IS LIFE
Today, many people try to define life by their standard of living or personal wellbeing, and as a result, they respond to situations however they choose.
But God is life.

“For with thee is the fountain of life...” — Psalm 36:9 (KJV)

Those who are truly alive are people whose thoughts and actions are influenced by God. This is the evidence of life. But when your situation determines your conduct, it is a sign of spiritual death.

The role of challenges is to reveal whether you are alive or dead spiritually. When challenges come and God still determines your response, it means you are alive. Challenges are life’s questions, testing whether you are truly living in God or merely reacting to circumstances.

There are people who are something else when things are good and another thing when things are bad. Some are changed by position, leadership, wealth, or influence.

Do not allow circumstances, people, or positions to define you. Let God, who is life, define you.

AGREE WITH JESUS

God’s love for you could not allow Him to watch you continue in sin, shame, and destruction. That is why God came down in the person of Jesus Christ. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:19 that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. Everything Jesus Christ came to do was centered on solving the problem of mankind.

Many religions and philosophies struggle to accept that God Himself came down to humanity because it seems beyond human understanding. Yet, the truth remains that God came for you. This reveals how deeply concerned God is about your life and your condition.

However, the pains, disappointments, and challenges you face may try to make you question this truth. You may ask, “If God cares for me, why am I going through all this? Why is my life like this?”

Sadly, many people no longer agree with Jesus Christ. The intensity of their trials determines the extent of their faith in God. But consider Job: no level of suffering was enough to make him turn away from God. The question is, at what point in life will you stop agreeing with Jesus Christ?

Do not allow your pain to expose weakness or inconsistency in your faith. Instead, let your situation know that you still stand with Jesus Christ, who has promised to deliver and sustain you.

Agreeing with Jesus Christ means that no matter how long or severe your challenges may be, you still believe that through Him, you will overcome.

Jesus Christ taught us a spiritual truth that many people do not even understand. When He lifted the five loaves of bread and two fish to God and gave them to the people, everyone ate to their satisfaction.

What Jesus Christ was simply teaching is that it is not the size of what you have that brings satisfaction, but the source of it. In other words, where you get whatever you have is more important than what you have.

Many people acquire money and other possessions through deceit, and this is why, even with abundance, they still lack peace and satisfaction in life.

Today, I want you to hear the words of Jesus Christ clearly: allow God to be the source of everything you have, so that you will enjoy true peace, joy, and satisfaction.

Life began with God’s Word, for He spoke and everything was created (Psalm 33:6). Anyone who does not regard God’s Word does not value life. Jesus Christ is the Word—read it, meditate on it, and live it out.

A LIVING CHRISTIAN

A Christian is someone who has been made alive by the Word of God.

Jesus Christ said, “The time is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live” (John 5:25).

This shows that it is the Word of God in our hearts that gives us life. Sadly, many Christians live without the Word dwelling in their spirits. They confess with their mouths, but the Word of God is far from their hearts. This results in spiritual deadness.
That is why their prayers seem lifeless and lack impact.

Do you want to be spiritually active and powerful? If yes, then the Word of God in your spirit is the answer.

“For the word of God is living and powerful…” (Hebrews 4:12)

MOVE FORWARD

God did not place your eyes behind you, but in front, because it is His utmost desire that you keep moving forward, not backward.

Anything that pushes you backward is not in line with God’s will. At a very challenging moment in the life of the Israelites, when it seemed impossible to go forward, God still instructed Moses to tell them to move forward (Exodus 14:15).

Fear is one of the most deceptive enemies we have empowered through our limited human senses. It convinces us that God is limited. Unlike faith, fear tries to reduce God to the level of what we can see, feel, and understand.
But this is what faith declares:
“Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters” (Isaiah 43:16).

What do you think is stopping you from moving forward? The very reason you feel you cannot go forward is the reason faith assures you that you can.
Instead of being afraid, begin to thank God—because He makes a way where there seems to be no way.

JESUS CHRIST OUR BALANCE
Anything in life that is not balanced is at risk of collapse. It may not happen immediately, but over time, it will surely give way. That is why balance is a critical factor even in the design of vehicles.

In physics, a weight used to balance or neutralize opposing forces is called a counterweight. For balance to be effective, the counterweight must be properly positioned.

As believers, Jesus Christ is our balance. Any life without Him is unstable—easily shaken by challenges and pressures, and eventually heading toward collapse.

But here is the deeper issue: many Christians claim to have Jesus Christ, yet He is not rightly positioned in their lives. Some carry Him only on their lips and not in their hearts the very center of life. Others may have Him in their hearts, but He is not properly aligned, and so their lives remain unstable.

So, how do we position Jesus Christ correctly in our hearts?
It is by hearing and keeping the Word of God. Christ remains established in us when we hold onto His Word day and night. When this is done, no matter the storms or pressures of life, we remain steady and unshaken.

Jesus said:
"Whoever hears these sayings of Mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall..." (Matthew 7:24–25).
The storms are not the problem, the positioning is.

The real question is: Is your life balanced? Are you depending on money, career, or other things as your source of stability?

Today, choose Jesus Christ, the true counterweight, the only balance your life needs.

PUT YOUR LIFE IN HIS HAND

Jesus Christ said, “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.”

Here Jesus Christ stated clearly that those who are selfish and mindful only of their own lives will lose it. It is often said that unless you put your life into something, you won’t find life out of it.

Many people want the best from God but don’t want to put the whole of their lives into His hands. When the temperature is high, they withdraw back to themselves.
Following Jesus Christ comes with sacrifice, and not many are willing to give or accept whatever comes.

But Jesus Christ said if you love your own life and don’t want to put it at risk for His sake, then consider it already at risk.

Today, I pray that your spirit will be informed and that you will make a decision for the salvation of your soul.

DON’T BE DISTRACTED
Almost everyone understands the power of focus. Focus is essential in every area of life. A person without focus struggles to become anything meaningful, and this applies even more to the spiritual life.

Jesus Christ revealed one of Satan’s key strategies in the parable of the sower. In Matthew 13:22, He said:
"He who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful."

Satan is not afraid of Christians, churchgoers, or even those who hear the Word of God, he is afraid of fruitful Christians. That is why he uses distraction as a weapon, making focus difficult to maintain.

Focus is a matter of priority. When Mary chose to sit at the feet of Jesus while Martha was busy with many things, Jesus said Mary had chosen what is better, and it would not be taken from her (Luke 10:42).

Satan’s goal is to keep you from prioritizing God, because your salvation and growth depend on it. In Isaiah 45:22, God says, “Look unto Me, and be saved…”
It is a serious thing to remain a Christian for years without visible fruit from your relationship with Christ.

Jesus also taught that trials and challenges come for the sake of the Word (Mark 4:17). This means distractions often arise because of your focus on God’s Word so that your attention can be shifted from God to the storms around you.

Some time ago, while praying for someone, And a demonic spirit said: “we make people focus on their problems rather than God, so they go nowhere and remain unfruitful.” This reveals how distraction operates—it redirects attention away from God and limits spiritual growth.

Jesus warned in Luke 21 that many would miss heaven because of distractions, urging us to watch and pray.

So ask yourself:
Are you more focused on your challenges, wealth, or achievements than on Jesus Christ?
Is there something occupying most of your heart, leaving little room for God?

If so, it’s time to realign your focus

WALKING IN POWER
Breath is the greatest possessions a person can have. The Bible says, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7).

Breath is not just a sign of life—it is what empowers everything a person carries. This means that breath is an immeasurable gift from God.

It also means that anyone who breathes is not merely existing, but has been given the capacity to live in power. Consider this: no matter how strong a lion or any human may be, the moment breath ceases, all power is gone.

The Apostle Paul also reminds us that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God” (2 Timothy 3:16). The word “inspiration” means God-breathed. This shows that God’s Word carries His life and power. It is this Word we are called to meditate on daily.

When you meditate on God’s Word, you are filling your heart with His life and power. Scripture says, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). This means your thoughts shape your life.

Therefore, let the breath of God in you remind you that you are valuable, empowered, and full of purpose—not unworthy or defeated. God has created you with the capacity to walk in power, not in shame or defeat, because you are sustained by His breath.

No matter what you are going through today, choose hope over despair. God is still with you.
Meditate on His Word daily. As you do, your spirit will be renewed, and you will be positioned to walk in the fullness of all God has prepared for you.
