​Youth and elders of Riyom and Barkin Ladi Federal Constituency staged a massive solidarity rally to declare their unwavering support for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). The historic rally coincided with a high profile consultative visit by leading gubernatorial aspirant, Chief Kefas Ropshik, who met with party stalwarts and community leaders to seek their support ahead of the upcoming primary election.

​Speaking at the event, Hon. Darim Ezekiel Dachomo addressed the critical security challenges that have plagued Riyom and Barkin Ladi. He spoke with deep passion about the resilience of the people and delivered a stirring message of assurance to the visiting aspirant.

*HON. DARIM EZEKIEL DACHOMO COMMENCES STRATEGIC CONSULTATIONS WITH BARKIN LADI PDP EXCO; RECEIVES UNALLOYED SUPPORT AND CHARGE TO UNITE THE PARTY*

The candidate for the Riyom/Barkin Ladi Federal House of Representatives seat, Hon. Darim Ezekiel Dachomo, held a crucial consultation meeting with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Executive Committee (Exco) and party leaders in Barkin Ladi.

​Receiving the candidate, the Barkin Ladi PDP leadership expressed immense gratitude and respect for Hon. Darim’s unwavering commitment to the party. The stakeholders highly commended him for staying back and keeping faith with the PDP, even during its most trying moments and throughout the recent period of intense court litigations.
​The Exco explicitly declared their full, support for his candidacy. However, they also handed him a vital task, to work tirelessly and use his influence to unite the party family during these challenging times, ensuring a formidable, single front ahead of the elections.

​Hon. Darim was happy by the exceptional turnout and the profound show of love from the party stalwarts, promising never to betray the confidence reposed in him.

He noted that despite repeated cries for help from traditional rulers, community leaders, and local residents, the federal and state security apparatus have offered nothing but empty promises and reactionary statements

While demanding immediate, decisive action from the security agencies, Hon. Darim urged the youths and elders of the constituency to remain resilient, vigilant, and legally organized in defending the heritage and peace of their ancestral lands.
​He reiterated that his mission to the National Assembly remains a rescue mission to use the power of federal legislation, oversight, and international advocacy to force the government to do its job and restore permanent peace to Riyom and Barkin Ladi

Hon. Darim also emphasized on Implementing sustainable economic programs to lift families out of poverty and equip the youth with modern skills and resources and also addressing the severe lack of medical infrastructure. He noted with concern that several villages currently lack basic health facilities and pledged to prioritize the establishment and funding of rural clinics.
