We Made Wider Consultation Before Endorsing Kefas - CAN~~~~~

By Hassan Garba

The Taraba State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has said that before it arrived at endorsing Col Agbu Kefas, Retired for Governor, Taraba State, the body made wider consultation with relevant stakeholders.

The CAN Chairman, made the clarification while addressing news Men in Jalingo, Taraba State capital.

According to him CAN respect and love all the Candidates in various political parties and it is not in any way fighting with any of them.

He explained that CAN is only playing the role of a father which is giving direction to it's children aimed at maintenance of peace.

Rev Dr Isaiah Magaji Jirapye, noted that the association did not in any way collect money from any Candidate for endorsement as some people are speculating.

He recalled that the practice of CAN endorsing a candidate did not just start now but over the years and that most of the Candidates faulting the association were once a beneficiary of such.

The CAN Chairman observed that the idea was aimed at giving people direction and ensure that people's votes goes in blog to produce a leader and not to share the votes and fails to produce a leader.

On why the party always endorsed Candidates in the ruling party, the chairman said the association goes with popular opinion.

Happy Birthday to my Pastor, Rev. Sagarga Nuvalga Gargea .

I genuflect before the almighty and pray that he bless you beyond boundaries. Why? Because, your humility startles me.

You are kind, compassionate, patient and ever committed to Kingdom business and your love for the work of God, and genuine love for the people you know and even those you barely know are qualities that stand you out.

As you celebrate on this occasion, I pray that the Almighty Father will keep you, bless you and continually increase your anointing in the mighty name of Jesus.
