Some of the Infant Jesus Sisters and novices gathered in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, for a grace-filled retreat directed by Rev. Fr. Andrew Midim, held from the 8th–14th of March 2026.
It was a sacred time to step away from the demands of daily ministry and return to the heart of our vocation—the love of Christ who first called us. In prayerful silence, we were invited to reflect more deeply on our journey with the Lord and to open our hearts to His healing and renewal.
We are grateful for this blessed time and for the guidance of Rev. Fr. Andrew Midim. As we return to our communities and apostolates, we carry renewed hearts and a deeper desire to live and share the love of Christ in our mission.

From the 5th–7th of March 2026, the Infant Jesus Sisters in Nigeria gathered with delegated lay collaborators from the different areas where we serve for a fruitful and inspiring workshop at Mile 6 Community, Jalingo, Taraba State, Nigeria.
During this time of reflection and learning, we reflected on the value of friendship, and deepened our understanding of the importance of collaboration between the Infant Jesus Sisters and our lay partners in carrying out our shared mission. We also explored the importance of strategic planning and responsible leadership as essential tools for serving our communities more effectively.
Most importantly, the workshop reminded us that our mission is firmly rooted in faith, compassion, and a shared commitment to promote life, justice, and the dignity of every human person.
We are grateful for the enriching moments of dialogue, learning, and fraternity experienced during these days. As we return to our various places of service, we remain strengthened and renewed in our common mission.

*REJOICING IN THE BIRTH OF THE INFANT JESUS.*

Despite the prevailing insecurity, the Infant Jesus Sisters joyfully gathered to celebrate the birth of the Baby Jesus. Sisters from our two communities, together with our postulants in Jalingo, Nigeria, were joined by a few close friends and priests living nearby.
The day was filled with shared meals, dancing, games, laughter, and warm fellowship. This gathering reminded us that even in difficult times, the joy and hope of Christ’s birth continue to shine among us.
✨ Glory to God in the highest. ✨
