Sheikh Musa Aliyu, the President of the Taraba Muslims and Christians Consultative Forum, is advising the committee tasked with studying the creation of a state police force to focus on understanding the challenges faced by the police, rather than solely considering state or federal police. He highlights several key issues, including inadequate equipment, insufficient salaries, and lack of allowances for police officers.

Sheikh Musa Aliyu questions why states seeking their own police forces cannot also ensure that these officers are properly equipped and compensated, as the Nigerian constitution grants them the right to do so. He emphasizes the importance of security and acknowledges that states have pushed for the establishment of state police to protect their constituents.

However, he cautions that there is a risk of potential abuse, noting that some states may misuse state police to target opponents, similar to how they have employed vigilantes and volunteers in the past. Therefore, he urges the committee to thoroughly assess the risks associated with creating a state police force in order to mitigate any negative consequences.

Sheikh Musa Aliyu, the President of the Taraba Muslims and Christians Consultative Forum, attended the Easter service at the church, where he delivered a lecture on the life of Jesus Christ and his patience. He used the example of how Jesus' enemies crucified him, yet God brought him back to life. This history serves as a challenge to those who seek to spread conflict between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria. God will not grant them victory. Instead, God will restore goodness and harmony among followers of different religions in Nigeria. May the blessings of Jesus Christ and the spirit of Easter be with us all.

I have remained committed to leadership and service to the nation of Nigeria.

I pray that God continues to grant me the strength and opportunity to carry out important work in health promotion, interfaith dialogue, cultural understanding, conflict transformation, and peace building in my country, Nigeria.

The President of the Taraba Muslims and Christians Consultative Forum, Sheikh Musa Aliyu, has urged religious and civil society organizations to understand their role in ensuring security in Nigeria. He also emphasized the need for these organizations to improve their relationship with security agencies by reporting any incidents of lawlessness or vandalism in their communities. According to him, police work is coordinated by the police committee, so civil society organizations should work together with security agencies.

Sheikh Musa Aliyu, the President of the Taraba Muslims and Christians Consultative Forum, has urged the Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, to refrain from supporting religious and communal riots by providing assistance to those who instigate religious violence. If the Taraba State Government continues to fund religious rioters, the spread of religious violence will persist in Taraba State. The only way to resolve religious violence is through justice among followers of different religions. Anyone entering a territory that does not belong to them should be removed by the Taraba State Government using the force of law. This approach will foster peace between religions and within the community. However, if certain groups deliberately incite riots and attack the Donga Emirate an area known for its history of peace resulting in loss of life, and the Taraba State Government continues to support them, then the government is facilitating the spread of religious violence across Taraba State. Such groups are effectively investing in the incitement of religious violence.

The Society for the Support of Islam (Jama'atu Nasril Islam) is a major Muslim community organization in Nigeria, founded in 1962. Its mission is to promote Islamic unity, education, welfare, and humanitarian services, as well as to strengthen dialogue with the government.

We therefore ask the following questions:
How many hospitals has the Society for the Support of Islam (Jama'atu Nasril Islam) built in Nigeria to improve healthcare?
How many schools has it established to advance education?
How many orphanages has it built to provide relief and care for orphans?

At the same time, Muslims in northern Nigeria are facing serious challenges, including insecurity, poverty, hunger, economic collapse, and a lack of social development projects. These are critical issues that the Society for the Support of Islam (Jama'atu Nasril Islam) should focus on and actively pressure the government to address.

We suspect that the Society for the Support of Islam (Jama'atu Nasril Islam) is more concerned about the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan, who is widely regarded as a fair and impartial man. They cannot influence or change his position to suit their interests, and this may be the reason they are threatening to impeach him in order to achieve their goals.

Sheikh Musa Aliyu, the President of the Taraba Muslims and Christians Consultative Forum, has condemned the call by a group known as the Supreme Council for Shari'ah in Nigeria to remove the INEC chairman Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan. He accuses such organizations of attempting to plunge Nigeria into chaos and incite sectarianism and religious intolerance. He urges Nigerian Muslims to recognize politicians who disguise themselves in religious garb and create organizations labeled as religious to achieve their political objectives. These politicians use religion to tarnish the image of Nigerian Muslims in the eyes of the world.

Sheikh Musa Aliyu, the President of the Taraba Muslims and Christians Consultative Forum, reminds the Minister of Defense Christopher Gwabin Musa of his promise to Nigerians to withdraw the military from roadblocks across the country and replace them with police officers. This change would allow the military to focus on entering the forests to combat bandits. Although this promise was made to Nigerians, they have yet to see the military's withdrawal from roadblocks. The removal of the military from these positions is a critical ethical issue that will help protect the dignity of the armed forces, especially considering how they sometimes humiliate the people, mistreat individuals, and contribute to various community problems.

The President Taraba Muslims and Christians Consultative Forum, Sheikh Musa Aliyu, has expressed its disagreement to the Central Bank of Nigeria regarding the bank's plan to deduct a percentage of depositors' funds from their accounts under the pretext of enhancing cybersecurity. We oppose this measure because the Central Bank is responsible for safeguarding the assets and accounts of depositors. This approach appears to oppress Nigerians and infringes on their rights to protect their assets in banks.
