Life Is a Race

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus…” — Hebrews 12:1–2a

Life is not a sprint, it’s a race of endurance. Along the way there will be distractions, burdens, and obstacles that try to slow us down. But the scripture reminds us to lay aside every weight and keep running with perseverance.

Our focus must remain on Jesus, the one who leads us, strengthens us, and gives us the grace to finish well.

Keep running.
Don’t give up.
The finish line is worth it.

In a world full of distractions, our hearts are turning back again back to the altar, back to the Word, back to the presence of God.
This is more than a gathering.
This is a generation choosing Jesus again and again.

There’s something powerful about returning to the place where it all began the place of hunger, devotion, and sincere love for Jesus.

Today at Foursquare Student Fellowship, we were reminded that Christianity is not just activities, meetings, or routines… it is a relationship. A relationship that must continually return to its first love.

In a world full of distractions, our hearts are turning back again back to the altar, back to the Word, back to the presence of God.
This is more than a gathering.

This is a generation choosing Jesus again and again.
