May we not, in the pursuit of influence and the praise of men, neglect our purpose in Christ.
Beloved, if the work you're doing is keeping you from prayer and the study of God's Word, it may be a distraction from the purpose of God for your life.
Be watchful, the enemy is never at rest.
Luke 12:15 NIV
Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”
You desire to be a blessing to the world like Kenneth Hagin, yet you spend 20 hours daily on a tech project, leaving little or no room for communion with God.
It is well, but may we not become so busy pursuing success that we abandon the secret place, where true impact is birthed.
To you who are seeking influence by all means while neglecting spiritual growth, when the spotlight finally comes, you may begin to realize the weight and responsibility that come with it. It’s not as easy or glamorous as it seems.
Imagine if our Fathers in the faith once spent up to 18 hours daily in prayer and study some 30 years ago, it’s possible that time has lessened since then. One likely reason? The demands that come with the spotlight.
So please, take your time to grow. Don’t let pressure push you into premature exposure or selfish ambition.
Grow deeply in Christ before seeking to be seen by men. Let your roots go deep before your name goes far.📌💙🙇♂️
