God has given and He has taken away; glory be to God! What can we do in such a situation? We become emotional, we cry, we mourn, we feel weakened, dejected and blank. All these are natural human expressions to something over which we have no power. It is a testament to the fact that God has absolute authority over our lives.

Sometimes, He gives people the grace to live through old age. At other times, He allows people to live for a very short period, yet their lives are impactful. Rev. Canon Ezekiel Oluwatobi Awoyinka lived the latter. His life was characterized by zeal for God and a passion for evangelism.

He has lived a worthy legacy, and his pattern of love for God is one that is worth emulating. He served faithfully and left footprints that cannot be easily erased.

Rest on, soldier of Christ🕯️
