PSALMS 119:4

*You have charged us to keep your commandments carefully.*
*Psalms 119:4 NLT*

To charge in this context means "to give instruction to", "to request of us". We can go further to say that "to expect us to".

This expectation comes with a level of our understanding, it is a statement of knowing. We know what God wants us to d, to obey Him. It is an affirmative statement.
It says "to keep your commandments *"CAREFULLY"*
The Amplified version explains "carefully" to mean diligently.
Diligently is conscientiousness in one's work or duties.
(Conscientiousness :- the quality of wishing to do one's work or duty well and thoroughly.)
This in turn means that we are expected to consciously desire to follow the instructions of the Lord and follow thoroughly.

THOUGHTS TO PONDER ON
Am I intentional about God or am I just keeping Him close for my benefit alone?
How well do I follow the instructions of my Father?

PRAYER
Father, in Jesus name, please help me to be intentional about you. Grant me the grace to diligently do all that you ask me to do. Amen.

Teaching is perceived as the oldest and noblest of all professions and has been globally recognized to be those actions by which the teachers and learners make learning successful than it would have been without such actions. Teaching is very vital in the realization of the objectives of education.
But a big challenge this beautiful profession has is STRESS.
Teacher stress is a specific type of occupational stress. Teaching has been viewed as a stressful occupation, and this has been recognized as a widespread problem in educational sector. Teacher stress has been described as the teacher’s experience from unpleasant negative emotions and physiological changes (such as increased heart rate) which is as a result of some aspects of the teacher’s job that constitute a threat to his self esteem or well being. Teacher stress is defined as experiences of teachers that are characterized with unpleasant negative emotions such as frustration, anxiety, depression and nervousness that are as a result of some aspects of their work as teachers.

In this one day seminar we will learn how to identify stress and emotional factors that triggers and heigthens stress on the job

And most importantly, we will also be learning how to develop skills to combat stress and anxiety resulting from the cons of the teaching profession.

In this verse, we can see that each statement begins with an instructional command; "do not" but "present".
This simply implies that we have the God given capability to stsnd our grounds where sin is concerned. It is our obligation not to allow sin reign in our bod, in our lives let alone allow it rule over us.
"Do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness... ". This simply means any part of your body should not be allowed to cause you to sin. What you see or watch, what you hear, what you speak, where you go, and your whole being dhould be carefully and consciously presented to God as being alive. For the moment you accepted Jesus you died to sin and it doesn't have any right to reign in you again if you do not allow it
This morning, I want encourage you to try and live in the precepts of the Father and i know He is more than willing to help us do so by the help of the Holy spirit.
CONFESSION
Gracious Father, I ask for your help, guidance, grace to live above sin. Help me to see you in all that I do so that I can be blameless before you. Help me to quench every desires of the flesh and ignite my spirit man into doing more of your will.
Thank you Jesus for the power and grace to dominate over sin. Amen

Right before the beginning of the world, it was God's intention to create us to be loved. God had loved and chosen us to be His beloveth before we were born. No wonder it was also easy for Him to give His only begotten son as a remission for our sins. He chose us in Christ Jesus. That is, we are not our own. The moment we were cut of by sin and Jesus had to step in to finish the work of redemption, we became blameles, with no fault what so ever.
To encourage you today, say to yourself God loves me regardless. The truth about God's love is that it is always there even as a sinner He loves us so much. The love He has is for all and it is unconditional, without repentance. He won't look back on His love for you. He won't take a look at you and say "no way your sins are too much, therefore stay away".
So no matter how much you are feeling unloved because of sin, just know He loves you regardless. Knowing this will help you in repentance of your sin.

CONFESSION
I am loved by a loving Father who loves me even before I was born, who loves me regardless of what I have done. His love is great and beyond my comprehension. His love overshadows me know He loves me, I accept Christ love for me because He chose me as His beloved. Hallelujah

As it is written, we will be taught by God. It is also written, none of His word shall go back to Him void, written or spoken.
The Father is willing to teach you, willing to teach you all things. He is willing to lead you every step of the way. His doors are always opened for you, His well is always full for you to drink from only if you are willing as well.
The scripture says everyone who listens to the Father... listening to the Father includes a conscious and purposeful hearing, obedience to His will and instructions. Total submission of ourselves, letting go completely to the Father's will.
The Father is more than willing to teach us, that's why He sent His Holy spirit all we have to do is listen.

CONFESSION
I am of the Father, I hear Him when He speaks to me. I am His sheep and He is my shepherd, His voice alone will I hear. I will not listen to the voice of a stranger. The Holy spirit helps me to walk in obedience. I yield to His teachings by His help. Amen

The reasons for highlighting these phrases is because on them lies our message for today.
Who is the Bible talking about here? No one else but the Holy spirit. Holy spirit is the power house of God. The third person of the trinity. He was made available when Jesus left, He came as God to help us keep the relationship with the Father.
Once you have Jesus, you have the Holy spirit automatically that means as a believer He dwells in you and He has the ability to give life to your mortal bodies. He has the ability to give reasoning beyond your intelligence, He has the ability to give you creative abilities you cannot imagine, He has the ability to heal your sickened bod, He has the ability to give you wisdom for everyday life. Everything that seems not to be working will be made alive in you.
What do you then do to enjoy this indwelling of the Holy spirit, recognize Him and His mighty power within you. How? You may ask. By picking your Bible to read and meditate about Him and His power and abilities, by professing and personalizing every of His words to your life.
Speak it to every situation of your life, speak life to your body and it will begin to cone alive in you.

CONFESSION
I am born of the Spirit, He dwells in me. I am in Christ and He is in me. The power of the Holy spirit that raised Jesus up is in me therefore, I have the life of God. The unquenchable life of God it works in me to make me all that God desires.
It changes me every moment till I become like Jesus
