THEME: DESTINED FOR GREATNESS Part 2

Advice: Discover where God wants you to stay and stay there.
Text: Psalm 33:11
The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
Destiny is an extremely powerful force because it comes from that God who once He speaks it is done.
Destiny is far far more powerful than death.
When Jesus Christ raised people from dead, He never mentioned the word death. Lazarus come forth and He didn't say death release Lazarus, He ignored death.
In the case of Peter;
Mathew 16:13-19
God showed Peter that he is destined to lead the church.
Acts 12:1-11
Herod killed James one of the Apostles. But the night he wants to bring up forth Peter to kill him, an Angel stepped in.
Genesis 37;18-24
In the case of Joseph, the brother said here comes the dreamer, let us kill him and see what will become of his dreams. They decided finally to throw him into a pit and the pit had no water in it.
Daniel 6:1-end
God has made up his mind that Daniel will be the number one man in the state but the enemies said he will be thrown into the den of the lions and didn't die. Those who threw him in the den of the lion became food for the lion.
When God has destined you for greatness, you can't die. Destiny won't let you die.
Prayer
Whether the devil like it or not, you will live, you will not die, you will fulfill the purpose of God. Amen
Destiny can notify death and can do even more.
- Destiny can reverse the irreversible.
Prophesy
The Lord ask me to tell someone, He said I will strethen you. Amen
In the case of Sarah;
Genesis 17:1-17
God told Sarah that she will be the mother of Nations
By the time God showed up;
Romans 4:17-22 -
The womb of Sarah was dead but because there was a destiny that she will become the mother of nations, destiny reversed the irreversible.
Proverbs 19:21
There are many devices in the heart of man but the counsel of God shall stand.
In the process of waiting on God, Sarah has maneuvered her husband to go into her servant and lay with her but the destiny over Sarah was there.
It doesn't matter the plans the enemy has put in place concerning you or how hopeless your situation may be, the counsel for your life will come to pass. Amen
On many occasions you find yourself in a situation that unless God intervened, there is no way you can become what God wants you to become, leave that to God.
Decree
You shall laugh last. Amen
Prayer
Every irreversible in your life because you are destined to be great shall be reversed. Amen
- Destiny clings to you like your shadow. It stays permanently with you.
Taking about Joseph for Example;
Genesis 37:3
Joseph was the favourite of the father. Why? There is no particular reason.
Genesis 39:4-6
When he landed in Potiphar's house, he practically took over. The great man who bought him as a slave handed over everything to him because he was destined for greatness.
Prophesy
The Lord said you will soon discover your highway to sweatless success. Amen
Genesis 39:20-23
By the time they lied against Joseph and they threw him to prison, as soon as he landed into prison, the jailer handed over everything to him (Joseph) because destiny would not allow him to be an ordinary prisoner. He was the one deciding who will eat, what they will eat and when they will eat. Joseph was a prisoner but was a great prisoner because destiny clings to him.
When you are destined to be great, you will discover that wherever you go, you will enjoy extra ordinary favour.
- Destiny is all a matter of time.
Habakkuk 2:3
The vision might be for an appointed time, if it tarries, wait for it.
From the day you were born, you are already a king. God who decides what you are going to become is also the one who decides times and seasons.
In the case of Joshua & Caleb
Numbers 14-6-38
When they were the two who said don't be afraid let's go and process the land.
Prophesy
The Lord says He wants to address your dreams.
- He said there is someone listening tonight, that you have been dreaming of almost drowning, The Lord said He will dry up the rivers of the enemy. Amen
- He said someone has been dreaming of going back to primary school, He asked to tell you, I assure you, you will never be less than you are now, Amen
- He said you have been dreaming of climbing mountains, anytime you climb, you are sliding down, He said this very night, He will carry you over mountain. Amen
- The Lord said there is someone here tonight, anytime you are about to succeed, you will see red things, red pepper, red oil, red dress, He asked to tell you, all the dangers around you have been diverted. Amen
Decree
From tonight onwards, you will be having pleasant dreams.
It is a matter of time for the fulfillment of God's purpose for your life
Joshua 14:6-15.
Caleb came to Joshua and said sir, you were there about 45 years when it was prophesied through Moses and said you and I will take over this land, give me some mountain, I am still as strong as I am.
- Not only will Destiny prevent you from dying, Destiny prevents you from getting "old"
1 Samuel 16:11-13
David, was practically decreed as king
As time went on, instead of becoming king, the present king was trying to kill him. Many times, the king threw javelins at David but kept on missing.
David moved on,
1 Samuel 22:1-2, David became the leader of vagabonds.
Little by little, he became king of Judah. 2 Samuel 2:4
2 Samuel 5:1-5, he became the king of Israel.
He (David) was destined to be king of Israel.
Because it is a matter of time, God brought this topic, Destined for Greatness after a 100 days fast.
As it is written, thou will arise and have mercy on Zion because the time to favour her, ye the said time has come.
It's all a matter of Mercy.
Prayer
Your time for greatness has come. Amen
- There is one thing about destiny that you need to know, it creates in you a hunger for God. Somehow, there will be a hunger in you for God.
Joseph said in Genesis 39:1-9
When the wife of the owner said Joseph should come and commit adultery and no one will know. Joseph refused because He won't sin against God.
Joshua 24:15
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord
Psalm 34:1
David said, I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Psalm 18:1-2
David said; I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
[2] The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Mathew 14:22-33
Everybody was sitting in the boat when that storm was there, it was only Peter that said if it was you that asked me to come...
Destiny links you with God. You just want to be where God is, you want to please Him, you want to serve Him whatever it cost.
You are destined to serve God. If you are yet to surrender your life to Christ, you need to stop resisting. Don't truncate your own destiny by resisting God, you need to surrender your life to Jesus Christ today. Come now if you want to surrender your life to Jesus Christ. Don't resist the pull of destiny today.
Cry to Him and tell Him you don't want to have anything to do with the devil anymore, ask Him to save your soul, have mercy on you, ask Him to come and dwell in you so that you can fulfil your destiny, ask Him to cleanse you by His blood, ask Him to write your name in the book of life and promise never to go back to your son anymore.
Prayer Points
1. Thank God that in His mercies, He has kept you alive
2. Father everything good in my life that the enemy has killed including my ability to pray, win souls, resurrect tonight
3. Father since destiny can reverse the irreversible, stop the laughter of my enemies and let me laugh last
4. Since destiny grants favour, wherever I go from now, in every situation, let me enjoy uncommon favour.
5. Since there is a time table associated with destiny, let my time table begin today
6. Since it is not by power or might but by your mercy, just have mercy on me
