The Grace Assembly Ministry, Owena branch, Ondo state's Annual Children Anniversary came up yesterday and it was glorious and glamorous. Succinctly special. Kudos to daddy and mummy, Pastor and Prophetess Oyebamiji. The ministry celebrate the cooperation of the church members as a whole. Let's do it again in 2023. Next year will be greater than ever in Jesus' name.

To you, dear children, your sacrifices still amaze us. Keep it up, you're getting there.

Appreciating the presence of our one and only 'Mummy Eje Jesu.' The Lord is faithful. He'll surely reward our labour of love.

Ziba is an opportunist. Taking of circumstances with no regard for principles or with what the consequences are for Mephibosheth. Opportunist actions are expedient actions guided primarily by self-interested motives. Opportunist capitalize on the mistakes of others: to exploit opportunities created by the errors, weaknesses or distractions of others to one's advantage. Their motive is to take all that belongs to you while feigning to be a loyal servant. They exist in all spheres of life. In ministry, business, marriage and all relationships that require either partnership or master-servant. Prayerfully and watchfully select your partners and executives. Prayerfully and watchfully accept friends, apprentices, workers, housekeepers... Ziba is just a servant, but by his dubiousness, he used what belong to his master to seize all that belonged to him. Beware of Zibas! "Then the king said to Ziba, all that belonged to Mephibosheth is now yours." - (2 Samuel 16:4)

BATTLE AT BIRTH

Bible Text : MATTHEW 2:1-23

Memory Verse: "Get up, " he said, "take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill"

It should no longer be a news to anyone that life is a battle. Even before you were born, adversaries assigned against your destiny have began their merciless attack.

A king was about to be born. Not just the king of the Jews but the king of the whole world. A great threat to the kingdom of darkness. Some persons and most pastors thought the Magi were just innocent wise men who came to worship the boy Jesus.

In reality, they were never ordinary. These are demon reincarnates sent by the host of darkness to expose the secret birth of the king of kings and exterminate him from the land of the living through the sword of Herod.

By the virtue of Mighty, fiery, and merciless angels of God assigned as guardian angels to protect Jesus against any form of spiritual attack from the four angles of the world, the kingdom of darkness was completely handicapped in spiritual warfare.

But when you are overpowered. Where power has failed, wisdom can succeed. For this very reason they employed the scheme and it was carried out by these demon star browsers, to employed the curiosity and anger of Herod, to strike dead the boy Jesus.

They disguised as worshippers, but their real identity is that of a destroyer. I pray, every destroyer assigned against your life and destiny shall be strike dead by fire in Jesus name.

To start with, God is completely against astrology and star browsing because it is a demonic practice. Apart from this place, where again did you read that astrologers get involve in or ever endorse the things of God? Can you not see a scheme to destroy the savior?

Deuteronomy 18:10-14_
There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. "For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD; and because of these detestable things the LORD your God will drive them out before detestable.

Leviticus 20:6
'As for the person who turns to mediums and to spiritists, to play the harlot after them, I will also set My face against that person and will cut him off from among his people.

In addition, the star they were tracking never disappeared at any point in time. So, why did they had to report to the king before they continue their journey? Moreover, it is completely a spiritual star, only their spiritual sight can perceive it, no other can, and it can never disappear from their sight.

In conclusion, why did they have to return to Herod? They were about to expose where the boy Jesus is to Herod before one of the angels warned them. They knew he(the angel) will strike them down before they can even get to the palace if they dare disobey him.

They applied wisdom and went their ways. "Why should we sustain deadly injury an still loose? Let's just leave everything in the hand of fate and hope Herod succeed this time around. Otherwise, our day of doom is nearer than we thought." This was their thought.

Men and brethren, can you pray this very prayer: Every familiar spirit, every monitoring spirit, monitoring, recording and reporting my life events to the rulers, authorities, powers and principalities in the kingdom of darkness, consuming fire, utterly destroy them in the name of Jesus Christ.

Use Psalm 97:3 to pray for 15 minutes.

3 Fire goes before him
and consumes his foes on every side.
4 His lightning lights up the world;
the earth sees and trembles.
5 The mountains melt like wax before the Lord,
before the Lord of all the earth.

THE RECORD BOOK

Bible Text : MATTHEW 1:1-25

Memory Verse: "A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham"

Today's passage took us through the genealogy of Jesus Christ. It's a succinct record of all the contributors to his birth. After Jesus' birth, a new record book was opened in heaven. It's the record book containing the name of all that had contributed to the coming kingdom of Christ on earth.

Since the book has not been closed, it means the kingdom project is still ongoing and more contributors are seriously sought for. Dear Christian, is you name among the list of contributors? Who are the contributors? These are those who bear lasting fruits.

By fruit we mean makers of disciples. They are both evangelists and disciplers. How many fruits have you bear? How many have been saved through you? How many souls have you won into the kingdom?

You should get your name penned in this book if you love your life, otherwise you may loose it. Salvation is free, but the requirements of keeping the gift of salvation is not free. It is earned by work - the work of bearing fruit.

The Lord was clear on this when he said: "I am the true vine, and my father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch that does not bear fruit. Such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned" - John 15:1,2,6.

Salvation is like a talent but it must be put to work. Many Christians like the lazy servant has buried their talent of salvation. What then will the Master (Jesus) do to them? He will throw them outside, into darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 25: 26-30).

Is your name in the book of contributors? Is your name in the book of soul winners? Is your name recorded in the book of disciplers? Where are your fruits(disciples). Because only these ones will be recognised in the coming, eternal kingdom.

CREATION AND RECREATION

Bible Text : Genesis 1:1-31

Memory Verse: "Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters"

After creation, there is need for recreation. After separation, there is need for consecration. After salvation, there is need for sanctification.

It took God five thousand years to recreate and transform the earth into an habitable place for man. Dear Christian, are you recreated? Are you transformed? Are you refined?

The Bible says, "if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation." Just as the earth was a new creation, you as a new believer are a new creation. After becoming a new creation, what next.

It is a pity however that most Christians don't know. They are confused, not knowing the next line of action. Sadly, billions of Christians around the world remain in a state of stagnancy. They have refused to grow. Or can I say, they sincerely do not know what to do.

They are like crude oil that refuse to be refined. Consequentially, they are useless and unfruitful to God in the kingdom work. Their life is void of spiritual knowledge, fruits and gifts. There is no evidence of sanctification in them. They claim to carry the light but the world around them couldn't see the acclaimed light.

OK. What is the way out? Jesus will answer that question for us.

Mark 9:49 👉 "Everyone will be salted with fire."

After salvation is not a time to start jumping around and start shouting "I'm a child of God." Rather, it is a time to enter the refining place of fellowship.

The place of the word and prayer. It's the place of knowledge and power. It's the arena of understanding and grace. It's the garden of wisdom and fire. It's a place where the light of God's word displace darkness and confusions. It's a place to receive new fire for new exploit. It's an avenue for the Holy Ghost to fill the emptiness with eternal riches and reform the formlessness.

Would you allow the Holy Ghost to work upon your life? Will you give him the chance to remould you through God's word? How much time can you give him to work? Change comes in time. It will take God just some months to recreate you completely, if and only if you will give him time.

The spirit of God is hovering over your life. Will you permit him to carry out his assignment?

Most Christians thought after salvation, all they need do is wait for rapture to commence. What a narrow mindset? (Romans 12:2; 1 Corinthians 2:16)

How will you inherit eternal life with those darkness (malice, hatred, anger, covetousness, laziness, backbiting, pride, sexual immortality, love of money, worldly dressing, cowardice...) in your life?

Until the holy ghost work on you - your attitudes, believes & ideologies - the LORD won't be able dwell in your body. Until the Lord Jesus flogs out everything that buys and sells in your heart and body, it won't be a comfortable and conducive resident for the Holy God to reside.

He is hovering over your life.

Do remember, *"after salvation, there is need for sanctification; after deliverance, there is need for empowerment, after separation, there is need for consecration; finally, after creation, there is need for recreation"
