Good day everyone. Today's Lent topic will explore obedience. It is vital that we obey God when He gives us instructions. Our obedience to God demonstrates our reverence for Him and our love for Him. When we obey God, He blesses us and answers our prayers at the appointed time. For example, Abraham obeyed God when God instructed him to take his son and travel to a designated location. God commanded Abraham to sacrifice his son. As Abraham prepared to sacrifice his son, God intervened and told Abraham not to sacrifice his son. Abraham obeyed God's command and did not sacrifice his son. God commended Abraham for his obedience and promised to bless him abundantly for his obedience to Him. God provided a goat as a substitute sacrifice for Isaac, his son. As a result of his obedience to God, Abraham received immense blessings and wealth. It is beneficial to obey God, as it leads to blessings and divine favor.

Good day everyone. It's another day of the Lenten season. Today, we will be reflecting on Love as our Lent topic. God's profound love for the world led Him to send His only begotten son to our world to preach the good news of the Kingdom, heal the sick, raise the dead to life, cast out demons, forgive sins, and allow us to believe in Him to inherit the Kingdom of God, as stated in John 3:16. Jesus wants us to love Him as He loves us. Also, Jesus Christ wants us to love ourselves.
