The issue of sanctification is strictly between you and God.

It is difficult to see, but when He has given you a heart of flesh, you will know it.

Prayer Point
• Sanctify me, oh Lord. Sanctify me completely. Give me a heart of flesh; I want to become Your favourite.

The favourite wife must be without blemish.

The favourite wife has tremendous power; she can determine the fate of other wives by reporting them to the kabiyesi ('king' in Yoruba).
But she's not allowed to make a mistake.
Numbers 20: 1-13

Total sanctification is like crucifixion.
When you crucify someone, they die completely.
When you are sanctified, anger dies permanently.
Galatians 2: 20

There can be no sanctification without salvation.
You have been selected; the next step is salvation.

If you haven't given your life to Jesus or would like to rededicate your life, ask the Lord to have mercy on you, forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood, and save your soul.

How did Moses know what happened in Genesis 1? God told him everything because of his intimacy with God.

When you become a favourite of God, you begin to know what others can not know.

What is most important in the power of sanctification is that if you are truly sanctified, you'll begin to see what others can not see.

° You begin to see what had happened in the past, things you couldn't possibly have known. 2 Kings 5: 20-27
When you become sanctified, God can show you a picture of something that happened in your family years ago that is affecting your present and show you how to deal with it.

° You can see the present in a miraculous way. 2 Kings 6: 8-12

° You can see what will happen in the future.
2 Kings 7

☆ The reason you must hunger for sanctification is that it can give you the opportunity to have a glimpse of your house in heaven.
2 Corinthians 12: 2-5

You can't see heaven and remain the same.
You can't see heaven and cling to the things of the world.

☆ Thorough sanctification is the actual secret of divine power.
God will not release massive power to someone who can not see the invisible.
2 Kings 2: 9-15

If you are not thoroughly sanctified and God releases His awesome power to you, you'll get angry once and destroy a lot of people at once.

You want the power to raise the dead?
Don't you know that the power to raise the dead can also be the power to kill?

Sanctification has another meaning - set apart for God's use.

The vessel that is sanctified is the one meet and set apart for the Master's use.

To be sanctified is to be God's favourite.

• When you are sanctified, you become set apart for God.
No demon, no devil has the temerity to tamper with you because you are a favourite of God.

☆ The power of sanctification is embedded in this intimacy with God.

☆ When you are truly sanctified, you have intimacy with God that other casual Christians don't have.
Numbers 12: 5-8

▪︎ When you are sanctified, you begin to hear what others can not hear. John 13: 21-30
There are things the Almighty God will only reveal to the sanctified.

It is sanctification that makes living holy easy because the heart you were born with (Jeremiah 17:9) is desperately wicked.

▪︎ Salvation is easy to measure; it won't be long before people begin to notice.
• Your name changes to 'child of God'.
• Your accommodation changes. You begin to attend church rather than clubs.
• Your responsibilities change, and you begin to witness for God.

You can't be born again and keep it down.

▪︎ When you're baptised in the Holy Spirit, it's easy to see.
• You'll speak in tongues.

Unfortunately, sanctification is difficult to measure; it's a matter of the heart. A heart of stone is changed to a heart of flesh.

Salvation is the foundation of the house
Baptism in the Holy Spirit is the roof
Sanctification is the walls

It is possible to have a foundation, dodge the walls, and get to the roof, like our auditorium here.
That is why many Christians jump sanctification.
Sanctification can not easily be measured because it is eternal.

When I was younger, as soon as I became born again, I made my desire known to God that I didn't want to be an ordinary Christian.

When I said that, I wanted power, the power of the Holy Spirit.

However, before long, I discovered that God is more interested in the fruit of the Holy Spirit than the gifts.
Matthew 7: 15-21

You can have all the gifts, perform miracles, signs, and wonders, and yet not be known by God on the last day.
