LAST DAYS MESSENGERS MISSION
MINISTERS CONFERENCE
THEME: BACK TO BETHEL 2024
TOPIC: DIVINE VISITATION FOR BLESSINGS
BIBLE TEXTS Gen 21:1-7 1Sam 2:20-21 Psa. 65:9-13
Our central theme is a call for us to return to our basis, where we initially met with God. Just like Jacob who encountered Divinity on his journey at Luz which he renamed āBethelā- (House of God). Gen 28:11-13, 19-21. That encounter brought a great change in the history of his life, which is the heartbeat of everyone seated here today for such encounter. The same God of Bethel will meet us and manifest himself in our midst this season. Gen 17:1-2 35:1-3
I am asked to speak on āDivine Visitation for Blessingsā. There are two important words in the topic ā Divine Visitation & Blessings.
Divine Visitation is all about the arrival of God or God stepping into the situation and circumstances of man; where Divinity brings humanity into a practical encounter with his presence and power. It is God coming into the condition of a man with special purpose which he must actualize no matter the obstacles.
Blessings are those things that bring joy and make one happy; something that brings positive change in oneās life; āfor the blessings of God makes rich and adds no sorrowā.
Divine Visitation for Blessings is when God intervenes in human circumstances to bring about transformative blessings, interrupting the lives of individuals with His presence to orchestrate positive change that glorifies Him and benefits humanity.
TYPES OF VISITATION
There are two kinds of Godās visitations.
Visitation for Blessings
Visitation for Judgments. (Hos 9:7-9; 8:11-14)
God can visit a nation, community, church and individual, all for a purpose, Exo 3:16; 4:31, 1Pet 2:11-12, 1Sam 2:20-22. We are here as a church for Godās visitation and blessings. There shall be a shift after now. God has an agenda in every of his visitation. There is always a remarkable event in His visits (Gen 8:1, 9:1)
KEYS TO DIVINE VISITATION (Exo3:6-8, 1Sam 2:20-21)
The keys to divine visitation lie in our relationship with Him. He visited Israel based on His covenant and relationship with their fathers Abraham, Isaac, etc. when he saw their afflictions Ex 3:6-8.
Our relationship with God matters a lot which will determine the kind of visitation he will accord us. God is a righteous judge, He will not misplace priorities. Have you established a cordial relationship with Him by accepting Jesus as Saviour and abiding in Him as Lord? John 1:12; 15:1-5
Divine visitation for blessing has to do with already established relationship, through new birth in Christ. John 3:1-7, 2Cor 5:17.
Faith in Godās word (Gen 22:1, 12:1)
Obedience (Isa 1:19, Lk 5:1-7)
Generosity and sacrifice (2 Kng 4:8-18, Acts 9:36, 2Kng 3:26)
Commitment Acts 10:1-3
Prayer 1kngs 18:30-38
(NB: āwhom you are, is more important to God than what you are doing for himā, Isa 6:1-8, 1Sam 3:12-7 Zach 3:1-8).
PURPOSE FOR DIVINE VISITATION (Gen 21:1-2)
The purpose of God visiting an individual, Nation, Church etc lies on the situation and circumstances of the very people. There are people he visited and blessed according to their cases and challenges. Ruth 1:6

CONCLUSION: Having seen the need of divine visitation for His blessing, in this holy convocation, as we return to our bases (Bethel), with all our hearts, nothing will stop Him from visiting us with healing in his wings; for it is the will of our father to give us even his Kingdom as our Prerogative. Lk 12:32.
