"This Sickness is not unto Death"

Last Sunday, I stood and stared around and saw how everywhere and everything looked so pale and sickly.

The society has been infected and everything is affected!

Not just man but all that connect with him...everything has gone comatose and ailing.

I could read on their faces, a need for help.

Prophecies have rolled in. Proclamations have been made. Analyses, Forecasts, Professional interventions have all been seen.

Almost everything has been exhausted.

Prophets have been speaking and professionals have been working. Yet it seems there is no end in view.

Churches are closed down. Where are all the shouts and echoes?

Mosques are muted and the sounds from Fajr to Isha'a are down.

Businesses are not bustling.

Markets are marked down.

Life has been halted.

It's a terrible viral invasion nay infection that affects everything!

Man needs help now and the society is in desperate searching.

It has always been like this. The earth is a planet of diversities and adversities.

Men have always wriggled in all manner of quagmire.

So my soul stirred and I spoke...

"This sickness is not unto death!"

Everything will soon return to normal.

Prosperity Gospel or Deliverance Gospel or allied emphasis.

Legalism or Ascetism or the likes.

Whatever isn't the Gospel endangers the Gospel no matter how friendly or deadly it looks.

The answer is not far-fetched but we are afraid to look in!

The Gospel has created its own path since ancient times and so evident by the lives of individuals who have plied. The story is the same. The testimony is the same.

We will be doing a great disservice to deny the obvious.

The word of the Spirit has not changed. What He said to them yesterday is the same he is saying today.

We must avoid deception in all its forms or anything that casts doubts even if it profits us materially. Life is transient and not worth the betrayal of the Truth.

The contentions have been from Day One! But some fought it and wielded their Faith to demystify and deflate counterfeit impositions.

Today, we traverse the ancient path to see what is in the Sacred Store for us. We have so much to learn and glean on
