All praise is due to Allah who has guided us to witness the blessed month of Ramadan. Peace and blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, his family, and companions.

Dear brothers and sisters, today may be the last day of Ramadan, a day of reflection, gratitude, and hope. We began this journey with intentions, and now we stand at its closing moments, not knowing whether we will witness another Ramadan in our lifetime.

This day is not just an ending; it is a moment of accountability. Ask yourself: What have I gained from Ramadan? Has my heart softened? Have my prayers improved? Have I drawn closer to Allah?

Allah says:

“And that man will have nothing except what he strives for.” (Qur’an 53:39)

If we have done good, we ask Allah to accept it. If we have fallen short, we turn to Him in sincere repentance, for Allah is Most Merciful and loves to forgive.

Dear believers, the righteous predecessors would worry more about the acceptance of their deeds than the deeds themselves. So let us increase in istighfār (seeking forgiveness) and make this heartfelt du‘ā’:

اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ، وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
“O Allah, accept from us, indeed You are the All-Hearing, All-Knowing, and accept our repentance, indeed You are the Acceptor of repentance, the Most Merciful.”

As Ramadan departs, let us not abandon the good habits we built—the Qur’an, prayer, charity, and remembrance of Allah. The Lord of Ramadan is the Lord of all months.

Whoever has done well should continue, and whoever has fallen short should not despair—because the door of repentance remains open.

May Allah accept our fasting, our prayers, and our supplications. May He forgive our sins and allow us to witness many more Ramadans in good health and īmān.

Āmīn. 🤲

The Prophet ﷺ encouraged us to seek this night especially in the odd nights of the last ten days. He also taught us a powerful supplication to recite frequently:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ العَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
“O Allah, You are Most Forgiving and You love to forgive, so forgive me.”

Dear believers, these final days are an opportunity that may never return. Many who were with us last Ramadan are no longer alive today. Therefore, we should strive to increase in prayer, recitation of the Qur’an, dhikr (remembrance of Allah), charity, repentance, and sincere supplication.

Let us not allow these blessed nights to pass in heedlessness. Whoever is forgiven in Ramadan is truly successful, and whoever is deprived of Allah’s mercy during these days is truly unfortunate.

May Allah allow us to witness Laylat al-Qadr, accept our fasting and prayers, forgive our sins, and grant us salvation from the Hellfire. Āmīn. 🤲

Ramadan Day 16: Preparing for the Last Ten Nights

Alhamdulillah, we have reached Day 16 of Ramadan. We are now drawing closer to the most powerful nights of the year, the last ten nights.

The wise believer does not wait until the 20th night to prepare. Preparation begins now, by strengthening intention, increasing focus, and reducing distractions.

Allah says:

“The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.” (Qur’an 97:3)

Ramadan is moving quickly. The last ten nights carry Laylatul Qadr, a night better than a thousand months. Those who prepare early benefit most.

Today, begin to:
• Reduce unnecessary screen time and distractions
• Increase your Qur’an recitation
• Plan your night worship schedule
• Make a personal du‘ā’ list
• Renew your intention for i‘tikāf (even if at home in seclusion)

Day 16 is about spiritual strategy. Strong endings require early preparation.

Do not let fatigue overcome you just before the greatest opportunities arrive.

May Allah grant us strength to reach the last ten nights in full sincerity and devotion. May He allow us to witness Laylatul Qadr and accept our deeds. Ameen. 🌙

Ramadan Day 15: Midpoint Evaluation and Renewed Intention

Alhamdulillah, we have reached Day 15 of Ramadan, the midpoint of this blessed journey.

Half of Ramadan has passed. The question now is not how we started, but how we will finish.

Allah says:

“So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.” (Qur’an 51:50)

Ramadan is a migration of the soul, from heedlessness to awareness, from sin to repentance, from distraction to devotion.

Today, pause and evaluate:
• Has my relationship with Allah improved?
• Am I guarding my prayers more carefully?
• Has my character softened?
• Have I reduced sins that once felt normal?

If you have done well, thank Allah and ask for steadfastness.
If you have fallen short, renew your intention today. A sincere restart in the middle of Ramadan can outweigh a weak beginning.

The last ten nights are approaching, the nights of immense reward and Laylatul Qadr. Prepare your heart now.

Let Day 15 be a day of recommitment, deeper focus, and stronger resolve.

May Allah accept what has passed, bless what remains, and allow us to complete Ramadan among the forgiven and successful. Ameen. 🌙

Ramadan Day 14: Consistency in Worship (Istiqāmah)

Alhamdulillah, we have reached Day 14 of Ramadan, halfway through the days of forgiveness. The initial energy may have settled, and fatigue may begin to appear. This is where sincerity is tested.

Allah loves consistent deeds, even if they are small.

Ramadan is not about intensity for a few days and then decline. It is about istiqāmah (steady devotion), even when no one is watching, even when the body feels tired.

Reflect today:
• Has my enthusiasm reduced, or has my sincerity increased?
• Am I praying with the same focus as Day 1?
• Is my Qur’an recitation improving in quality?

Consistency builds transformation. A small act done daily in Ramadan can reshape a lifetime.

On Day 14, renew your intention. Do not allow mid-Ramadan fatigue to weaken your resolve. The last ten nights are approaching and they require strength.

Ask Allah for firmness in obedience and protection from spiritual laziness.

May Allah grant us istiqāmah, accept our deeds, and allow us to finish Ramadan stronger than we began. Ameen. 🌙

Ramadan Day 13: Charity and a Soft Heart

Alhamdulillah, we are on Day 13 of Ramadan, moving steadily through the days of forgiveness.

One of the greatest signs of a forgiven heart is generosity. Ramadan is not only about restraining from food and drink, but also about opening the hands in charity and the heart in compassion.

The Prophet ﷺ was the most generous of people, and he was even more generous in Ramadan.

Allah reminds us:

“Who is it that will lend Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over?” (Qur’an 2:245)

Charity in Ramadan is not limited to wealth. It includes:
• Feeding a fasting person
• Offering sincere advice
• Smiling and showing kindness
• Suppressing anger
• Making du‘ā’ for others in their absence

Day 13 is a reminder: soften your heart. A hard heart struggles to feel the sweetness of worship.

Give something today, even if it is small. For Allah looks at sincerity, not size.

May Allah purify our hearts, expand our generosity, and accept our deeds. Ameen. 🌙

Ramadan Day 12: The Power of Istighfār

Alhamdulillah, we are on Day 12 of Ramadan, still in the blessed days of forgiveness (maghfirah).

One of the greatest keys to forgiveness is istighfār (seeking Allah’s pardon). The Prophet ﷺ, despite being sinless, used to seek forgiveness more than seventy times a day. What then of us?

Allah says:

“And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Qur’an 4:106)

Istighfār is not just a phrase, it is a state of humility. It softens the heart, removes spiritual rust, and invites divine relief.

Today, make it a goal to:
• Frequently say Astaghfirullāh with reflection
• Seek forgiveness for hidden sins and public shortcomings
• Forgive others as you hope Allah forgives you

Ramadan is a school of purification. The one who increases in istighfār increases in light.

May Allah forgive our past, rectify our present, and secure our future. Ameen. 🌙

Ramadan Day 11: The Days of Forgiveness (Maghfirah)

Alhamdulillah, we have entered Day 11 of Ramadan, stepping into the second phase of this blessed month, widely known as the days of maghfirah (forgiveness).

After experiencing Allah’s mercy in the first ten days, we now intensify our search for His pardon. For what is Ramadan if not an opportunity to return to Allah with a cleansed record?

Allah say:

“And whoever does wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful.” (Qur’an 4:110)

Forgiveness is not merely words upon the tongue. It is:
• Recognizing our shortcomings
• Feeling sincere regret
• Turning back to Allah wholeheartedly
• Replacing sins with righteous deeds

Day 11 is a reminder that no matter how heavy the past may be, Allah’s forgiveness is greater.

Increase your istighfār today. Say it with reflection, not haste. Ask Allah to forgive what you remember and what you have forgotten.

Ramadan is passing quickly. Do not let these days of forgiveness slip away without securing your share.

May Allah forgive our sins, conceal our faults, and write us among the pardoned. Ameen. 🌙

Ramadan Day 8: Humility Before Allah (Khushū‘ and Tadarru‘)

Alhamdulillah, we have reached Day 8 of Ramadan. As the days move forward, Ramadan begins to strip away distractions and expose the true state of our hearts.

Allah says:

“Successful indeed are the believers, those who are humble in their prayers.” (Qur’an 23:1–2)

Fasting is meant to humble us. Hunger reminds us that we are servants. Thirst reminds us that we are dependent. Weakness reminds us that strength belongs only to Allah.

Today, focus on cultivating khushū‘ (humble devotion):
• Pray with calmness, not haste.
• Make sujood longer and more heartfelt.
• Recite Qur’an slowly and thoughtfully.
• Speak less, reflect more.

True humility is not in appearance, it is in the heart that trembles when Allah is mentioned.

By Day 8, routines may feel normal. Do not let the fast become ordinary. Revive your intention. Feel your ‘ibādah. Let your heart participate, not just your body.

May Allah grant us sincere humility, accept our sujood, and make this Ramadan transformative for our souls. Ameen. 🌙
