TOPIC: God’s Favor; How to Activate It

Teacher: Holy Spirit
Vessel: Rev’d Chris Igbeyi

Text References: John 1:5, Revelation 17:21, Proverbs 23:18, Proverbs 24:14, Psalm 9:18

God’s favor is not something a man struggles to manufacture. It comes from walking rightly with God and remaining steadfast in faith, even when things do not yet make sense physically. The teaching emphasized that God honors those who stay aligned with Him and refuse to give up on their expectations.

No matter how dark a situation may appear, the light of God still shines through every limitation and obstacle (John 1:5). Our responsibility is to remain connected to Him and keep trusting His process.

Highlights:
• You must be in right standing with God.
• You must be consistent in your expectations.
• Love God and the Church.
• Divine guidance and provision accompany God’s favor.
• God’s favor can open doors beyond human strength and qualification.
• Delay is not denial; God still honors genuine faith and patience.
• Your expectation in God shall not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18).
• The needy and the hopeful are never forgotten by God (Psalm 9:18).

God’s favor still changes stories.

🌿 SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON 20 🌿
SARAH: MOTHER OF ISRAEL
📖 Hebrews 11:11

“Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed…”

Sarah’s story reminds us that God’s promises do not expire with time. Even when the wait is long, the situation looks impossible, and doubts arise, God remains faithful to His Word.

Sometimes God’s timing will challenge our patience, but faith means trusting Him beyond what we can see or understand. Sarah laughed at the promise, yet God still fulfilled it — proving that nothing is too hard for the Lord.

✨ Key Lesson:
God rewards those who believe His promises.

No matter what season you are in today — waiting, praying, trusting, or questioning — remain connected to God. His plan is still unfolding.

🙌 “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” — Genesis 18:14
