Alhamdulillah, with hearts full of gratitude to Allah, we share moments from the just concluded Annual Hijab Week organized by the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Kwara Area Unit, held at UNILORIN Secondary School yesterday.
This year’s Hijab Week, themed “Unity in Hijab: Upholding Dignity, Identity, and Shared Values among Muslim Women Folk,” was a week filled with learning, reflection, sisterhood, and renewed commitment to the values of modesty and faith. It served as a powerful reminder that the hijab is not merely a dress code, but a symbol of dignity, identity, obedience to Allah, and unity among Muslim women, regardless of background or differences.
We were blessed with insightful sessions, meaningful discussions, and active participation from our sisters, all of which contributed to the success of the program. We sincerely appreciate our guest speakers, facilitators, and everyone who honored us with their presence. Your contributions added immense value and depth to the program.May Allah accept your efforts as acts of ‘ibādah and reward you abundantly.
We pray that the lessons learned during this Hijab Week continue to reflect in our daily lives and strengthen our unity as Muslim women. May Allah keep us steadfast upon the path of modesty, grant us understanding, and beautify us with iman and good character.
Jazakumullahu khayran to everyone who supported this program in one way or another. May Allah bless you all and grant us the opportunity to witness many more impactful programs.
