Congratulations Apostle Sir
The fall of man dealt a devastating blow to nature. It hardwired instability into the very fabric of the earth and humanity so that it has become normal when nothing lasts forever.
Landslides, earthquakes, hurricanes, and volcanic eruptions are fruits of the earth’s uncertain foundations.
From the envy of Cain through the dark ravenous dream of Ni**od to the fall of Persia at the battle of Gaugamela, men and kingdoms have risen and fallen.
The human nature —the fallen human nature, brooks irregularities, inconsistencies, ups and downs.
But amid the plethora of ups and downs in creation, the Lord has left three markers of stability:
1. The sun that rises and sets daily without tiring once
2. The seasons that come and go consistently without fail
And…
3. THE OMOGE that has locked arms and hearts with me in the covenant of matrimony, forever!
You can tell that I have no business with numbers 1&2 above; my sole interest is in number 3, even THE OMOGE!
THE OMOGE —the best definition of stability that can be embodied by a human vessel, the constant reminder that what we have together is built on The Rock of Ages.
THE OMOGE —the clearest manifestation of the fact that any favour obtained from the Lord is like Mount Zion that cannot be moved!
THE OMOGE—the reason why my home permanently intercalates between grace and mercy, forever immune to the shockwaves of hell!
THE OMOGE— my ebony queen, mother of my biological children, lioness of the tribe of intercessors and mother of the RCN nation.
I woke up this morning completely overwhelmed —by how seventeen years have flowed sweetly by, like a swift overture to a beautiful symphony.
This mellifluous nuptial melody, churned by the orchestra of the Godhead, grows with each step of faith that we take on this journey of destiny.
The nations are listening in and it’s becoming louder and sweeter, until the nations bow to the lordship of Jesus!
Thank you , my love, for being consistent, constant and steadfast. Cheers to our seventeenth wedding anniversary and many more years of fulfilment and growth at the Lord’s pleasure.
