How to Know You Are Blessed
Most preachers write about how to know you are cursed, but the truth is many who are blessed are being told they are cursed. It’s a choice—and if you choose endless battles, that’s your decision—but I advise you to choose life (Deuteronomy 30:19).
Understand that a curse causeless cannot land (Proverbs 26:2). If you are walking in the light, there is no "landing strip" for darkness in your life.
Really, you must start with salvation (John 3:16), which means you can’t perish. Then work to claim your rights, since Christ has blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us (Colossians 2:14). Have faith, because even the smallest sincere piece of it—no bigger than a mustard seed—will shift the biggest mountain (Matthew 17:20).
Now, start declaring your liberty and start checking these signs of a blessed life one by one:
1. You Have Spiritual Peace (The Internal Compass)
The first sign of being blessed isn't a bank statement; it’s the peace that passes understanding. If you can eat and manage to sleep in the middle of a storm, then you are profoundly blessed. Christ is in your boat.
2. You Are a Pipeline, Not a Reservoir
A blessed person is identified by their capacity to bless others. If you find yourself consistently being the solution to someone else’s problem- you still have a kind word, a prayer, or financial help to give others—then you are operating under a heavy mantle of blessings. You aren't cursed, just unaware of your grace.
3. You Find Favor in Unusual Places
Blessing is when the "math" of your life doesn’t add up. You add your income and it looks small, but you are alive and moving forward. Check well. Where you were last year is not where you are now. This is the favor of God acting as a shield around you (Psalm 5:12). You can laugh. Wow. You almost fell in the bathroom but you did not. You are breathing without buying oxygen. Boy oh boy!!
Look, my friend, faith is all you need. All your accusers have dropped their stones and gone away in shame. Go and sin no more. You are blessed not cursed.
