The LORD didn't promise
That life would always be easy
My friends - but He promised that He would
Be near - and He tells us - to lift - our heads up in
Triumph - and always - to be of good cheer - for He has
Overcome the world with its troubles - and His mercies
Each day - are brand new - and when we look back
On the journey we've travelled - we can see -
The many times - how the hand of
Our God - brought us
