The 13th Chief Imam of Ilorin Emirate to Be Turbaned on 10th July 2026

His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, has approved the 10th of July 2026 as the date for the turbaning ceremony of the new Chief Imam of Ilorin Emirate, Sheikh Muhammad Bashir Dasuki (Imam Fulani).

The historic event will take place at the ancient palace of Ilorin Emirate, beginning at 10:00 AM, and will be presided over by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin.

May Almighty Allah grant the new Chief Imam a long life, sound health, and abundant wisdom to lead the Muslim Ummah effectively. May He also grant His Royal Highness continued good health and a long reign.
