May this season bring you more blessings, grace to move closer to God and enablement to act, speak and walk according HIS ( GOD'S) WILL in Jesus name.Amen.
Still on the topic we treated last before the celebration of our LORD JESUS' Birth..... " _CHOOSING_ _WRONG_ _PARTNER_ _IN_ _MARRIAGE_ "
Today, we are considering another sub- topic, .....
*THINGS* *TO* *CONSIDER* *WHEN**
**CHOOSING* A
*PARTNER* *IN* *MARRIAGE*
1. *Pray for guidance*: Seek God's wisdom and direction (Proverbs 3:5-6).
2. *Evaluate character*: Look for kindness, integrity, and godliness (Proverbs 31:10-31).
3. *Assess compatibility*: Consider values, goals, and lifestyle (2 Corinthians 6:14-17).
4. *Observe how they treat others*: Notice how they interact with family, friends, and those in need (Matthew 7:1-5).
5. *Seek counsel from trusted mentors*: Ask for advice from wise and experienced couples (Proverbs 15:22).
6. *Take time*: Don't rush into decisions; get to know the person (Proverbs 18:13).
7. *Look for shared faith*: Consider if you share spiritual values and goals (Amos 3:3).
8. *Evaluate communication*: Ensure you communicate openly and honestly (Ephesians 4:15).
Some biblical examples of wise choices include:
- Isaac and Rebekah (Genesis 24): Isaac prayed for guidance, and Rebekah showed kindness.
- Ruth and Boaz (Ruth 2-4): Ruth showed loyalty, and Boaz showed kindness and integrity.
Therefore, priotize your value and seek God's guardians always.
*God* *bless* *you*
