Jude 1:24-25
[24]Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
[25]To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
God will keep you from falling; God is able to do that.
What does it mean to fall? It means to digress into sin. It means to backslide. It means to commit sin. Every child of God is a target of the devil. Devil is busy making efforts and always working to push children of God into sin. This is why apostle Paul says examine yourself whether you are still in faith. We must always take a pause and cross-examine ourselves so that we don't jump into the trap of the enemy. Devil can bring a problem into your marriage. Thereby surrounds you with temptations. He might cause problem in your work or business or career and thereby begin to tempt you. Etc. what are we saying about falling? For a child of God, if he lies he has fallen. If he goes to herbalists he has fallen. when a child of God begins to visits shrine, eat sacrifices, uses black powder, uses charm and saying incantations he has fallen. when a child of God started committing adultery, fornication he has fallen.
But God is able to keep us from falling when:
1. You are committed to him. Committed in your walk with God and service.
2. Diligent in the word of God
3. When you continue in prayer. Your prayer life must be steady
4. When you engage yourself in fasting.
5. When you are conscious of yourself
6. When you set boundaries. You need to set certain boundaries
7. You are open and transparent to God. Tell God to help you when there is a lust or a particular thought is lingering in your heart. Tell God to take it out
8. Pray in the Holy ghost to draw grace to stand
# I pray for you that you will know God more. I pray for you that God's grace shall uphold you. God will keep you and guide you. God shall deliver you from temptation in Jesus name
