A BLESSED WEDNESDAY TO YOU BELOVED.. Today's topic says :*STOP PROVOKING GOD TO ANGER*

Proverbs 6:16-19 *These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.*
In our society of today, there are many practices that look normal and acceptable, whereas they are abomination unto God. The above quoted Bible passage reveals some daily practices at home, in the office, religious circles, political arena, etc. that do provoke God's anger. Little wonder that people spend much time fasting and praying to God on the mountains and in the valleys yet without any significant answer to show for it. Does God still answer prayers? Yes. He does, but not the prayers from corrupt hearts.

Isaiah 59:1-3 *Behold, the Lord ’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity*.

John 9:31 *Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.*
Let us all stop doing whatever is an abomination to God and ask for His mercy and pardon. Then, He will be gracious to us and we shall receive answers to our prayers.

*A BLESSED THURSDAY TO YOU BELOVED*. Today's topic says :*DEVELOP A HEART OF GRATITUDE :=ENCOURAGE YOUR HELPER*

Exodus 17:8-13 *Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim. And Moses said to Joshua, “Choose us some men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.” So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.*
For any significant victory or success in life, unity is vital. We all need people around us to support us to succeed. Moses sacrificed everything to make sure the children of Israel were delivered from slavery. When they were to fight the Amalekites, his hands needed to be held up, and that was done by Aaron and Hur while Joshua led the army to the battlefield until they had the victory. How often do you encourage your helpers and those encouraging you ? The people that sacrifice their money, time, material possessions, gifts, talents, knowledge, wisdom etc, to make your dream a reality ? Do you look back to appreciate and celebrate your parents for at least part of what they sacrificed to make you somebody from nobody? What about other people that are contributing to your success and happiness everyday? Or those God has used to take to where you are today? Or you are still feeling they have not done enough? DON'T BE AN INGRATE, APPRECIATE YOUR HELPERS EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT DOING IT AGAIN, what about what they have contributed to your life before now.. Learn to say THANK YOU for any act of kindness you receive. After all when you are denied help or offended you murmur or complain. When you praise and worship God for His blessings and goodness, then turn to the people He has used to bless you and thank them.
When messages are posted to you and you are encouraged or blessed, encourage the sender who is hereby referred to as the encourager by at least replying with THANK YOU. Let's keep appreciating ourselves even our little children, housemaids, gardeners, drivers, gatemen, neighbours etc. It should not be only our wives and husbands.. Some wives don't even appreciate their husband for all his sacrifices and efforts to sustain the family this very crucial period of our economy , they see it as his duty and obligations, what if he did not do it, likewise many husbands too failed to acknowledge the supports of their wives, especially those who are playing the roles expected of the man due to financial challenges. Shun that pride, ego and arrogance of yours appreciate him or her specially, say it, acknowledge it and show appreciation . Remember your spiritual leaders, remember those you learn from as artisan, remember those that tutored you to be successful also for they labour a lot over you, remember those God used to take you to the top, .. The more you appreciate and encourage them, the greater you are and the more the blessings of God upon your endeavours..
John 13:17 *If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.*
DEVELOP A HEART OF GRATITUDE, APPRECIATE YOUR ENCOURAGERS ALWAYS..
*PRAYERS AND DECLARATIONS : Almighty God, thank you because you daily load us with bountiful blessings. We request that you help us to be more grateful to you and the people you send to build us up in life in Jesus' name...The favour, mercy, grace and peace of God that surpass every human understanding be divinely released upon you as you go out today and for the rest of the week, you shall be divinely blessed, it is well with you in Jesus Name...I pray for you today that God will equip you for success, you will overcome all the obstacles on your way to higher ground, those who mock you will come back to celebrate you in a grand style and you will enjoy the goodness of God like never before, God will support you to have a global influence, may the Grace that can never fail be upon your life from today in Jesus name. *A BLESSED TUESDAY TO YOU BELOVED*. Today's topic says :=. *"THE WICKEDNESS OF THE WICKED "*

Acts 12:1-7, 11 *Now about that time Herod the king stretched out his hand to harass some from the church. Then he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to seize Peter also. Now it was during the Days of Unleavened Bread. So when he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of soldiers to keep him, intending to bring him before the people after Passover. Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church. And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison. Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, "Arise quickly!" And his chains fell off his hands. ... And when Peter had come to himself, he said, "Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people."*
Would it be an exaggeration to say that all king Herod'(s) were bloodthirsty and life-destroyers seeing they took great delight in killing people?

*Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men.* (Matthew 2:16).
Just because Herod did not want Jesus to survive, he decided to wipe out all the male children born at that time from the age of 2 years downward.
John the Baptist was beheaded by another king Herod.

*Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, But establish the just; For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.* (Psalms 7:9)

*"Here is the man who did not make God his strength, But trusted in the abundance of his riches, And strengthened himself in his wickedness."* (Psalms 52:7)

*PRAYERS AND DECLARATIONS : As baby Jesus escaped the edge of the sword of Herod and Apostle Peter was miraculously delivered from death and the expectation of the Jews, so shall you be delivered in the name of Jesus Christ.*
*I pray that the wickedness of the wicked over your life, family, business and all that concern you, shall come to an end, in Jesus' name.*
*As Jesus and Peter outlived the Herods that wanted them dead, so shall you outlive your enemies in the name of Jesus Christ...Whatever instrument the enemy is using against you begin to scatter by fire immediately, you are disconnected from the network of the enemies, from now let no power, forces or enemies troubles you in Jesus name.....I pray for you today that the eye that sees when no one is mindful of your presence, will watch over you, the one who knows what you can't tell the closest person around you, will meet your heart desire, the one who is the Eternal Light will never allow darkness to cover your glory, the one who fought for the Israelites will fight for you and grant unto you victory, the one who is success to Himself will wrap your life with all round success, so shall it be as I declare, He will scatter the wickedness of the wicked people concerning you, your family, work business, and all that concerns you in Jesus name. *A BLESSED WEDNESDAY TO YOU BELOVED* . Today's topic says : *"GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW YOU."* The text shall be taken from : *Psalm 23:1-6 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.*

It is a good thing to be conscious that God hates loneliness. *Genesis 2:18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.* Furthermore, he made provision for the companionship of God's GOODNESS AND MERCY. With these companions, the spirit of fear is banished permanently in your life. *Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.* Irrespective of any evil gathering, Fear Not. *Psalm 3:6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.* The Lord is your light, Fear Not. *Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?*

*In conclusion, remember that the Lord is your Shephered, you will never lack anything good. Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. Loneliness is never your portion : Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalms 145:15-19 *The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He also will hear their cry and save them.*
Whenever I remember and ruminate on the expression of David concerning his eagerness to appear before the Lord, *"I was glad when they said unto me, let us go to the house of the Lord"*, I always get so thrilled.
It is another time for us to come before the Lord for Him to open His hands and satisfy our heart's desires. Capitalizing on the graciousness and goodness of God, no one should return home empty-handed.
Today, be desirous and eagerly expectant to have your cup running over. Call upon Him now about whatever challenges confronting you because you are the next to testify.

Joel 2: 25-27 *"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.*
Who are the people of God?
By creation and right of ownership, everyone belongs to God. But through transgression man lost God's favour.
*For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God*, (Romans 3:23).
Sin separated man from God, but Jesus brought reconciliation and reunion.

*"Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.* (Romans 3:24-26)
Jesus is the justifier of every transgressor through the propitiation or sacrifice made with His blood.
If you have been justified and reconciled with God, then you are among God's people that shall never be put to shame according to His promise.
If you have not reconciled with God through repentance and faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, do that now.

*A BLESSED WEDNESDAY TO YOU BELOVED*.. Today's topic says := *LET PEACE REIGN*

Romans 12:17-18 *Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.*
Peace is an indispensable ingredient for development and co-existence of any family, community or nation.
For lovers of peace, nothing is too much to sacrifice in order for peace to reign wherever they find themselves. To live or stay peaceably or peacefully together with all men either at home, with our family members or neighbors or office with our colleagues, we may have to make some adjustments in our conduct or behaviour. We might have to humble ourselves more, learn to apologize more, appreciate others more, criticize less, show more care, be considerate, empathetic, not be selfish, love practically and genuinely, reconcile with whoever might have a misunderstanding with us and forgive quickly.
Do away with malice, hatred, backbiting, gossip, unnecessary suspicion, rigidity and don't be self-opinionated.
Desist from being always judgemental and claiming to be always right.
If we can put these into practice, it will not be difficult to live peacefully with all men.

*Pursue (follow) peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:* (Hebrews 12:14)
Let there be peace around you. Let peace reign in your life and everyone around you.
