*Yesterday, we continued with the teaching on The Power in the Name of Jesus.*
We examined how the disciples, when sent out by Jesus, returned testifying: “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name” *(Luke 10:17).* We also saw how Jesus has given us, His disciples, the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions, and to overcome all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm us *(Luke 10:19).* Truly, the Name of Jesus gives us power over Satan and every evil spirit.

We then stepped into the realm of exercising this authority, *just as Apostle Paul did in Acts 16:18,* and we prayed with great power and conviction.

By God’s grace, we will be rounding up this program today. *The God who has started a good work in our midst will surely perfect it.*

Our New Month Encounter program continues today!

Yesterday, God used His servant to unveil the theme: “The Name of Jesus.”
We learned about the status of the Name, as stated in Philippians 2:9–11, where God highly exalted Jesus and gave Him a Name above every other name. We also explored *the power in this Name,* where every knee must bow — showing the authority and victory found in the Name of Jesus.

Under this teaching, we entered into a powerful time of prayer — applying the power in the Name of Jesus, just as our Fathers in the Faith did in the Bible, to destroy every stronghold that might be set against us in this new month and to proclaim all the good things we desire for October.

Today, the program continues, and God has prepared His servant with another life-transforming message. This is not a meeting you should miss!
