JESUS CHRIST
"FATHER, Forgive Them for they know not what they do!"
"THESE SACRED WORDS, a petition, a plea for the sake of ignorant humanity rang out from the Cross of Calvary where, bleeding and tortured, hung the crucified Jesus The Son of God.
HOW DID IT COME ABOUT THAT, of all human beings, THE SON of GOD was crucified!
PURE, INNOCENT, LIKE A LAMB led to the slaughter, A PART of DIVINITY HIMSELF INCARNATE in Man...
He Who was GOD'S SON was accused of blasphemy by the very ones who professed to be God's servants at that time ... the Pharisees and Scribes, who felt threatened by The Word and Miraculous Deeds of Jesus.
Hence, for the sake of these evil human beings, who did not know what they were doing, Jesus uttered a petition to God The Father, that He may forgive them for their vile deeds.
Such Words were once again a proof that it was no mere human being who was being crucified, but DIVINE PERFECTION INCARNATE, not a human being who had "realised God" (for such a thing is in fact not possible, as God stands far above the origin of the human spirit), but a God-Son Who had come to deliver humanity through His Word.
ON ACCOUNT OF HIS WORD JESUS WAS CRUCIFIED.
It was not a Divine Plan that JESUS, PURE and INNOCENT, should be crucified. It was not God's Will that Jesus should be delivered unto murderers and evil-doers. God, The Almighty and Perfect One, does not will murder! He does not will sacrifice or bloodshed!
HOW, THEN, would He permit His Son to be murdered against His Will which, clearly expressed in the Ten Commandments, states "THOU SHALT NOT KILL!" This question already contains the answer in itself.
CHRIST came to bring THE WORD of GOD, which even the Prophets and other Masters prior to that time could not bring, in ITS PRISTINE and ORIGINAL FORM. Only ONE WHO COMES DIRECTLY FROM GOD can bring God's Word to humanity.
Others may come with spiritual messages from God, but The Word of God Itself can only be brought by The God-Incarnate.
By bringing His Word Jesus hoped to redeem humanity on the Earth from their sinful ways.This work of redemption was cut short by the crucifixion.
Two thousand years ago, there were under three hundred million people on this planet. But there were several billions of souls in the Invisible World of the Beyond, wherein also forces of both darkness and light are at work.
Many of these souls had been on the Earth before in previous lives, and had contributed to the sinking of the planet into darker and ever darker planes. The Earth itself was engulfed in this thick layer of spiritual darkness, brought about through the wrong ways of thinking of human beings.
THE FAILURE of HUMANITY AS A WHOLE, i.e. those in the Beyond as well as those on the Earth, culminated at that time in the crucifixion of The Son of God Jesus Christ.
This is why the curtain of the Temple, guarding THE HOLY of HOLIES, was suddenly rent in twain (Matthew 27:51).
It does not symbolise that THE HOLY of HOLIES has been opened up to humanity that they may now approach It freely. Rather, this tearing up of the curtain, which took place through natural elemental forces, symbolised that the Holy of Holies had been so defiled that such a thing so profound could no longer be anchored on the Earth.
In other words, there was no point in a "HOLY of HOLIES" on the Earth, because the wretched humanity of that time crucified The Holy of Holies Himself!
Those who perpetrated THE MURDER of JESUS became bound to the realms of darkness.
In Subsequent Earth-lives, they had to endure significant karmaic retribution for their deeds. Many of them joined monasteries, convents and became so-called venerated saints or blessed ones in the Catholic church, without anyone realising that these ones were among THE ORIGINAL MURDERERS of CHRIST. They cannot be redeemed from their guilt until they come to the recognition of their former sin, plead for forgiveness and set right the wrong from that time.
But the real crime was greater. With THE ESTABLISHMENT of ORGANISED RELIGION, a doctrine was developed to attract followers to the fold. This doctrine stipulated that Jesus came to actually die for us, and that only with the belief in His death on the Cross can anyone be saved.
Thus the church partially took away the need for people to absorb and live The Word of God and instead made people believe that they could reach Heaven simply by believing that Jesus' blood shed on the cross would set them free.
With this doctrine, unfortunately, Jesus' Word was set to the side, and one would not be wrong in saying that this is in fact a Crucifixion of The Word of Jesus Christ.
As if the Crucifixion of Jesus was not enough, His Word was further displaced to the side, and His personal life became more important, with His death on the cross as the focal point of all Salvation.
If you believe with all your heart that Jesus is The Son of God, that He is Divine Incarnate, The Living Word of God, as I do, then my appeal to you this (Easter) is to delve deeply within your soul on all of these matters.
Ask Yourself how is it possible for God to ordain that a dastardly murder may take place, when He Himself has decreed "THOU SHALT NOT KILL!"
And When Jesus Himself said that He did not come to abolish The Law but to fulfil It (Matthew 5:17-18), and if The Law states "THOU SHALT NOT KILL!" does it not strike you as odd that God would consider it "good" for other human beings to kill His own Son?
If This Was The Will of God, then is not Judas Iscariot, the Disciple of Jesus who betrayed Him and delivered Him to the authorities, without guilt before God?
If It Was God's Plan, then quite simply Judas was an executor of God's Will, and he should not have felt guilt and hanged himself (Matthew 27:3-8).
But According To The Bible, JUDAS FELT GUILT AND REMORSE, and took away his own life with great regret.
Does That Not Indicate that Judas realised he had made a great mistake?
If We Believe that Jesus is The Son of God, then let us cease to venerate THIS MURDER as a propitiatory sacrifice that is pleasing to God for the redemption of mankind.
Instead Let Us focus on The Word of God which Jesus brought, which taught us simply to Love God with all our heart, mind and soul and to Love our neighbour as ourselves.
And LET US BEG GOD FOR FORGIVENESS for THE GREAT SIN we have perpetrated against HIS SON, by crucifying Him and then, later, HIS WORD.
This Will Be the best (Easter) Gift we can give ourselves..."
