DECEMBER GLOBAL COMMUNION SERVICE

2026 is the year that begins the countdown. It's important that the world realizes what's going to happen from 2026.
There are many things you are going to be doing more than you ever did before.
For example, you are going to be praying more than you've ever prayed before.
What does that even mean?

I believe we do have a choice in the spirit.
Either we begin praying more than we ever prayed before by choice, or we are going to be made to pray more than we have ever prayed before.

This has to do with individuals as well as churches and the church of Christ as a whole.

Years ago, we were getting ready to fly after being away for some programs. We were taking off from Johannesburg. So, all the time, as the hours drew near and the moment got closer and closer, I was very uncomfortable in my spirit; unusually uncomfortable.
I asked "Lord, why am I so uncomfortable? Do I cancel? Do I reschedule?"
Every now and again, I would sneak away to go pray.
I wondered if something was wrong with the weather, but the weather was beautiful.
I tried to find out what the weather would be in Lagos by the time we would be landing. But nothing unusual.
While I was on my knees and talking to the Lord, he responded in an interesting way

First, he gave me an instruction to go earlier than scheduled.
Then he said something interesting (which is why I'm giving you this story in the first place). He said "this is one flight in which you are going to be praying a lot".
So I asked "should I cancel then?". He said "No, go. But you will be praying".

So we arrived early to the airport and we decided to just go even though it was not the time scheduled.

As we moved to the plane, there was an unusual breeze, but I didn't think anything serious.
So we got on the plane.

The moment, the plane got off the ground, the wind collected it. The next thing we knew, the plane went to the side. It was like paper in the air. Sideways, up and down. You could hear the sound of the plane struggling with the wind.

Now I got it.
Ofcourse, we let out powerful tongues. It was time to pray: this time, not just praying quietly. We opened our mouths talking to the wind, the plane and whatever was out there. We knew we couldn't be asking the pilot what's going on.
This was on for quite a while.
I've never been a flight like that. The pilots had never been in a flight like that

Interesting thing: If we had left later, we would not have been able to leave the South African air space. The weather was terrible. They said they hadn't had such weather for 90 years. Buildings were destroyed. Terrible thing!

We kept praying because I remembered what the Lord said. I was to continue the praying until there was no need to pray .. but we prayed a long time.

So when the Lord says we are going to pray more than ever before, better make a decision to pray either by choice or else you are going to be praying because of circumstances.
Which do you choose?

Don't wait. Just begin. Start having your prayer plan Now. Don't be pushed by Circumstances into Prayer.
Make the decision.
The Lord told us men ought always to pray and not to faint.

*THE VALUE OF A SOUL*

_For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul_ *(Mark 8:36)*

To God, one soul is worth more than all the wealth, resources and power in the world. That’s a staggering truth, yet it’s the reality of Kingdom values. Nothing compares to the worth of a human soul. The Bible says, *“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”* (John 3:16).

The Lord Jesus didn’t die for the systems, buildings and vegetations of the world; He died for people. Every soul you meet carries eternal value. Every person, regardless of background or behaviour, matters deeply to God. Their value is the blood of Jesus Christ: *“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”* (1 Peter 1:18-19).

When you truly grasp the value of a soul, evangelism becomes more than a legality; it becomes a love mission. You’ll weep over the lost. You’ll pray for them. You’ll go out of your comfort zone to reach them. The devil wants people distracted by fame, wealth, and pleasure so that they forget eternity. But as a child of God, you must see beyond the surface. See every soul as a treasure waiting to be reclaimed.

To further let us know the value of a soul, the Bible says, *“…joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance”* (Luke 15:7). Think about it: If all heaven rejoices over one sinner that repents, how much more should we labour to see it happen again and again. Therefore, make soul winning your habit and lifestyle. Rescue destinies. Deliver the souls of men from darkness into light and from the power of Satan unto God. Nothing could be more fulfilling.

*PRAYER*

_Heavenly Father, thank you for opening my eyes to see people the way you see them. Thank you for helping me appreciate and recognize the true value of a soul; this makes my heart burn with compassion for the lost as I passionately preach the Gospel, delivering them from the domain of darkness into your marvellous light, in Jesus’ Name. Amen._

_*📖All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them... (2 Corinthians 5:18-19 NIV).*_

There was only one sacrifice that was necessary for our salvation, the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. Acts 13:38-39 says, _*“Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.”*_ This is amazing. Everybody who believes in Jesus is justified from all things from which they couldn’t be justified by the law of Moses.

Jesus took your place in His death. When He was dying on the Cross, you were dying on that Cross, because He was your representative before God. He did it for the whole world. If He was your representative on the Cross, then He was still your representative when He was buried. That means you were buried when Jesus was buried; the whole world of sinners was buried with Him because He was our representative.

Isaiah 53:6 says, _*“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD had laid on him the iniquity of us all.”*_ Now, this Jesus, because He was our representative on the Cross when He died and our representative in the grave, when God raised Him up, we were also all raised together with Him. Everybody, regardless of nationality, race or religion, was raised together with Jesus.

So, if you’re reading this today and you’ve never been born again, turn to page 68 of this devotional and pray the prayer of salvation. Receive the salvation that Jesus consummated for you by His death, burial and resurrection. He paid the penalty for your sins, and now, God is not counting your sins against you. Hallelujah!

_In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God_ *(John 1:1)*

God’s Word is not merely what God says; it is God Himself. The Word of God is God in expression. When you hear God’s Word, you’re hearing God. When you receive His Word, you’re receiving Him. He’s in His Word, just as His Word is in Him.

This is a truth many don’t fully grasp. They think God’s Word is separate from Him, like someone saying something and then walking away from it. But that’s not how it is with God. His Word carries His person. It expresses not just His thoughts but also His power, His presence, His glory, and His life.

How do we know someone’s personality? It’s through their words. Words reveal who a person is. In the same way, God reveals Himself in His Word. His Word transmits divinity. The life of God is in His Word. That’s why when you receive the Word into your heart, you’re not just getting mere information or instruction; you’re receiving God Himself. You’re fellowshipping with the very essence of life.

His Word creates, heals, transforms and delivers. No wonder the Lord Jesus is called the Word made flesh (John 1:14). He said, *“I and my Father are one”* (John 10:30). He is the living Word. *“All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made”* (John 1:3).

Did you observe that the Word is referred to as *“Him”* and not *“it”?* That’s because He’s a person. Any time you hear and receive the Word of God into you, you’re receiving more than doctrine or teaching; you're receiving God. Therefore, honour His Word, because to honour His Word is to honour Him.

TALK THE WORD

SEE THE UNSEEN

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:18).

The verse above shows us a vital principle of faith; you’ve got to see the unseen! You should be able to visualize what you desire; see it inside first. This is important because you can’t possess what you can’t see. Any change you desire that hasn’t first taken place in your spirit, or which you haven’t yet seen on the inside will not manifest outwardly. Abraham, the great patriarch of faith, had to first see the vision of God’s promise to him of becoming a father of many nations: “And he (God) brought him (Abraham) forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be…” (Genesis 15:5-6).
