TOPIC: HELP FROM ABOVE - AVENUES TO GETTING HELP FROM ABOVE CONTINUATION

KNOW THIS:

You are nothing without the help of God.

Help means support, a push or backing.

It means to aid and give a lending hand.

No body does everything in life without one form of support or the other.

God's help is what makes a man an established authority on the earth.

Everything works cordially upon an individual whose life is helped by God.

When help is not sent or is not available, one becomes vulnerable, gullible and susceptible to undesirable life.

AVENUES TO GETTING HELP FROM ABOVE

1. Avoid the traps of foolery.
Romans 16:1, 53:1

(a) It is foolishness to mock Godly instructions, words of knowledge and Godly counsel.
2 Kings 7:1–17

NOTE THIS:

When you don't understand the word that has gone forth, wisdom demands you keep quiet.

(b) It is foolishness to take side with the enemies against your man of God meant for your deliverance prosperity.
Hosea 12:13, 2 Chronicles 20:20

(c) It is foolishness to vow and not redeem your vow. Ecclesiastes 5:5

(2) Be kind to people especially those in the household of faith. Colossians 3:12

NOTE:

Kindness does not mean killing yourself for someone.

It means doing all you can within your reach to help someone in need.
Colossians 3:9, Proverbs 19:17

Mercy attracts mercy.

POINTS TO NOTE

Divine visitation empowers redemption.

When God visits, He redeems us from:

1. Sin and the consequences thereof.

2. Sicknesses and diseases which might culminate into death.

3. The forces of darkness. All-encompassing

4. All the forces of captivities and bo***ge.

5. Untimely death.

THINGS WE MUST DO TO ENJOY CONTINUOUS DIVINE VISITATION

1. You must disconnect yourself from sin.
Proverbs 14:34

NOTE THIS:

A. If you don't rise up against sin, it would not go away on its own. Why? Because it has determined to make a mockery of you and to destroy your destiny.

B. You must understand that sin is an evil plan planted by the devil to destroy your life.
Matthew 15:13

C. If you want to see continuous blessings through divine visitation, you must declare war against sin and all the sinful habits that have kept you in captivity and bo***ge.
Psalm 11:1–6

D. If you don't lay that sin aside, it will throw you aside.
Hebrews 12:1

2. Take a decision to live in purity.
Proverbs 7:7–25

NOTE THIS

1. If you don't take an oath for purity, that adulterous woman or man you think loves you will stand by your graveside and witness your burial very soon.

Take an oath for purity today and escape being a victim of destruction through sexual sin.
Hebrews 6:13, 16–17

2. If you are playing cool with sin, you will soon be laid to rest before your time.
1 Corinthians 6:16–20

3. Have a good conscience.

Your conscience is the judge in your soul that tells you what is wrong and what is right.

A good conscience does not just happen; it is developed, and it's your duty to develop that good conscience.

4. Keep the right and godly friendship.

5. Beware of ungodly brethren.

NUGGETS
