Today's sermon was titled,"In this house".
2nd Chronicles 7:16 and 1st kings 9:3.
Everyone that visits another persons house, must have a specific purpose. The question is,"Is the visited house fit to grant your desire or appeal?" The bible says "I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever, My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually"
A chosen place is a place fit for a particular thing, so God said He has chosen this house"the church " meaning found it worthy for His dwelling.
That verse says "That His name may be there, where Gods name is, powers of darkness bow. If Philippians 2:10 would tell us that at the mention of His name every knee must bow,how much more where His name dwells. For knee to bow simply means the surrender, that means in the Church we experience God ruling authority and d powers fighting us can never stand the house of God.
That scripture also says," My eyes is there",this means that Gods attention is intoto there, so in Gods presence today and as you go through this message, God has is intoto attention on you and your heart cry will be granted by fire.
He also said "My heart is there" which means that God has his concern there,at your appearance in His presence, He has is concern on you to grant your desire and put your enemies and attackers to shame. This is your portion today now and after the service. Yet we have to consider this fact.
The chosen leader over the chosen house.
2nd Chronicles 6:6 "But I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel" Friends may I let you know that to every chosen house, there is a chosen leader, and may I also inform you that lack of value for the leader simply results in no favour for you from that house, how do you relate with, and service the leader?
Hebrew 13:17 "Obey them that have the rule over you and submit yourselves: for the watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy,
