How do you say the Holy Spirit lives in you yet you don't feel Him? If pregnant women can tell when a baby is living inside them, why shouldn't you be able to tell if the Holy Spirit is living inside of you? And before you tell me you hear His voice, a person doesn't need to be inside of you before you hear his voice. How do you have the Holy Spirit within you yet you don't feel His fire burning? How?

When we say we have fellowship with the Holy Spirit, it's deeper than a confession of faith, it's an actual fellowship. You can't have fellowship with a person and not feel the person's presence or even a physical contact.

When last did the Holy Spirit touch you? Do you even know how His touch feels?

Before I encountered this foundational truth, I honestly believed that I just have to have faith that I have Him within me. And yes, I feel that occasional unexplainable joy in my heart when I engage in spiritual activities, but that occasional feeling is not how God desires it to be. God wants us to have a sweet fellowship with His Holy Spirit, and if that feeling of fire and joy is occasional, then the fellowship is not sweet. It's not sweet!

Having the Holy Spirit within you has to go beyond an occasional feeling to a regular fire or infilling, and that's what I've been sharing with my Bible Study Group since Monday. If this is something you're interested in, then comment interested.
