Topic: God Chased Adam And Eve Away From The Garden

Memory Verse: Gen3:23

LESSON STORY

Adam and Eve lived in the garden of Eden. God made fine trees to make the garden beautiful. He also grew food trees to give food to Adam and Eve. God also made a tree of life in the garden. He also grew a tree of knowledge of good and evil.

God told Adam and Eve to eat of all food trees, except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve disobeyed God, ate of the tree which God told them not to eat. God was angry with them and sent them away from the garden. This made them to be totally separated from God.

MORAL LESSONS
- We should always obey God's instructions.

- The sin of disobedience separates us from God.

- Children should obey their parents, teachers and elders.

WHAT IS SALVATION?
Salvation is the process of being free from destruction and condemnation

NEEDS FOR SALVATION
They include:

1. The offer of salvation (Jesus Christ through faith and the work of the cross as well as his resurrection)

2. Repentance ( To turn away from the sinful state of life )

MORAL LESSONS
- We should claim the work of the cross

- We should live in righteousness

- As the saved ones, we should preach Christ as the source of salvation to others
