DAILY HOPE GUIDE: TUESDAY, APRIL 8TH, 2025
WE HAVE HOPE IN CHRIST
MEMORIZE: If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 1 Corinthians 15:19
COMMENTARY: Our hope in Christ must not be in this life alone. Christ promised us heaven and eternal rest. We should not be contented with living in big houses riding flashing cars and dressing gorgeously as a sign of all we can obtain from our maker. There is more to the benefit we have in Christ as we are becoming saints. Satan is using this to confuse many by making them to have a feel of I have arrived simply because they have material possession. It is not even enough to be well placed politically, no matter what the best is yet to come. We are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and we are far above all principalities.
As children of God we must totally believe His word and trust Him for His promises. Never allow the devil to make you focus on earth alone. He promised us eternal life and that is the ultimate thing for us, to be where He is. If after all we are suffering we still remain contented with life on earth alone then of a truth we are of all men most miserable. Let us look beyond whatever we are presently enjoying on earth. There is a better home in heaven for all the saints. Jesus is gone to prepare a place for you and if you are born again then you already have access to it. It is only in Christ that we have hope so stay connected to Him.
