What God has done before, he can do it again.
We serve a God who has a track record of answering prayers. That is why a major basis of our prayers are the records of what God has done before. His previous acts or manifestations are pointers to his present and future acts and manifestations.
We pray with confidence because God has continued to prove himself throughout all generations.
Hebrews 13:8 confirms that God does not change. What he did before, he is still able to do today. We know he will do today because we saw he did yesterday. We know what he will do tomorrow because we are seeing what heâs doing today.
What he did in anotherâs person life is a revelation of what is possible in our own lives.
In Exodus 3:14, God introduced himself to moses as âI AM THAT I AMâ in other words, whatever you have known him to be before is what he still is. Therefore, if he heeled yesterday, he still heels today. If he delivered before, he still delivers now. If he changed stories in the past, he still changes stories now. If he scattered the works of the darkness in the ancient times, he still scatters the works of darkness in contemporary times.
(He is still the same God today, tomorrow and for ever)
Malachi 3:6 corroborates his unchanging nature, God is consistent in nature, power, mercy and faithfulness.
In Luke 1:36-37, the angel told Mary about Elizabethâs miraculous conception declaring; for with God nothing shall be impossible, thus the testimony of Elizabeth became a prophecy for Mary. In essence, the angel appeared to be saying, if God did it for Elizabeth, yours is also possible.
Beloved, when you see God move in another personâs life, do not become envious, become inspired for testimonies are revelations of possibilities.
Genesis21:1-2 reveals to us Godâs faithfulness to Sarah. God has a track record of saying it and doing it. That is why testimonies should never be despised, Revelations 19:10 says for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Every genuine testimony is a prophecy announcing what God is still able to do.
Beloved, the God who did it before can do it again, Testimonies are not stories meant for entertainment, theyâre prophetic proofs that God is still at work. The same God who provided will provide again.
Remember, what God has done before he can do again.
FACTS TO WORK ON;
1. Study the testimonies and miracles in scripture to strengthen your faith related to your care.
2. Refuse to envy those God has helped, let their testimonies inspire you.
3. â Stand firmly on the unchanging nature and faithfulness of God.
PRAYERS
1. May you begin to see in your own life, the testimonies you have heard in the lives of others ijn.
2. â Those who wait on the lord cannot waste on the earth, let me not waste on the earth ijn.
3. â Those who trust in God cannot rust in life, father let me not rust in life ijn.
