Apostle G. U. Akpakpan Honours Invitation, Pays Courtesy Visit to Eteidung Edet Udo Umoh’s Palace

The Field Superintendent of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Ikono Field, Apostle G. U. Akpakpan, honoured an invitation from the Village Head of Afaha Obio Enwang Itak, Eteidung Edet Udo Umoh, with a courtesy visit to his palace.

The invitation was extended during the foundation-laying ceremony of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Afaha Obio Enwang Prayer House, where Eteidung Edet Udo Umoh, a devoted member of the Church, respectfully requested that Apostle G. U. Akpakpan visit his palace alongside his entourage and offer prayers for him and the community.

In response to the gracious invitation, the revered servant of God honoured the request and visited the palace with his entourage. During the visit, Apostle Akpakpan prayed fervently for Eteidung Edet Udo Umoh, his household, and the entire community of Afaha Obio Enwang Itak, committing their lives, leadership, peace, and progress into the hands of God.

The visit further strengthened the bond of fellowship and mutual respect between the Church and the traditional institution, while reflecting the importance the Church places on honour, relationship, and peaceful coexistence within the community.

Expressing his appreciation, Eteidung Edet Udo Umoh thanked God for His grace upon his life and for the privilege of witnessing the foundation-laying ceremony of the Prayer House. He also expressed gratitude to Apostle G. U. Akpakpan and the ministers of God for deeming it worthy to honour his invitation and visit his palace.

Foundation Stone Laid for TACN Afaha Obio Enwang Itak Prayer House

A significant milestone has been recorded in the history of The Apostolic Church Nigeria (TACN), Afaha Obio Enwang Itak Prayer House, Nung Udoe District, following the laying of the foundation stone for its permanent church building on 28th August 2026.

The epoch making event which marked the commencement of the permanent church building project, was officiated by Apostle G. U. Akpakpan, Ikono Field Superintendent.

The foundation-stone laying ceremony brought together distinguished ministers, church leaders, community stakeholders, members, and well-wishers who gathered to witness the landmark event and celebrate what God is doing in the Prayer House.

Among the dignitaries present were Apostle O. A. Inuaeyen, Apostle U. B. Asuquo, Apostle P. O. Udo, Pastor E. A. Essien, and Pastor Ndorenyin Udofia, the Nung Udoe District Pastor. The ceremony was further graced by Elders, Deacons, Deaconesses, the Village Head of Afaha Obio Enwang Itak, Eteidung Edet Udo Umoh who is one of the members of the church, as well as other respected members of the church, community and well-wishers.

The event stands as a visible testimony of a collective determination and contribution of the members of the Prayer House to the advancement of the work of God in the community.

The proposed permanent church building is expected to provide a more conducive environment for spiritual growth and the continued advancement of God's work in Afaha Obio Enwang Itak and its surrounding communities.

For generations to come, the foundation laid on 28th August 2026 will tell a story—a story of a people who believed, laboured, sacrificed, and trusted God for the fulfilment of a shared vision.

A HISTORIC MILESTONE: FOUNDATION STONE LAID FOR NUNG UDOE DISTRICT PERMANENT CHURCH BUILDING

28th August 2026 will remain a remarkable and historic date in the annals of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Nung Udoe District, as the long-awaited foundation stone for the District’s Permanent Church Building was officially laid.

The historic ceremony was performed by Apostle G. U. Akpakpan, Pioneer Field Superintendent, The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Ikono Field, marking a significant step forward in the growth, development, and spiritual advancement of the Nung Udoe District.

The foundation-laying ceremony stood as a powerful testimony to the faithfulness of God and a fulfilment of the words of our Lord Jesus Christ: “I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

The memorable occasion was graced by distinguished ministers and church leaders, including Apostle O. A. Inuaeyen, Ikono Field Deputy Superintendent; Apostle U. B. Asuquo, Ikono Field Assistant Secretary; Apostle P. O. Udo, Ibiaku Ntok Okpo Area Superintendent; Pastor E. A. Essien, Council Prophet; and Pastor Ndorenyin Udofia, Nung Udoe District Pastor, alongside Elders, Deacons, Deaconesses, members, friends, and well-wishers of the church.

The atmosphere was filled with joy, thanksgiving, worship, and deep appreciation to God for His unfailing faithfulness and provision. For the Nung Udoe District, the foundation stone represents far more than the commencement of a physical structure; it is a symbol of vision, unity, sacrifice, commitment, and confidence in God's continued leading.

The occasion also provided an opportunity for members to renew their commitment to the work of God and to unite in supporting the successful completion of the Permanent Church Building. The project is envisioned as a lasting spiritual heritage that will provide a conducive place of worship, fellowship, evangelism, and service to God for both present and future generations.

For Nung Udoe District, this is indeed a new chapter—a chapter of growth, expansion, greater commitment, and divine advancement.

Indeed, the Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad.
