My Testimony of Salvation (Born Again Experience)

By the grace of God, I gave my life to Jesus Christ on 29th December 1989 during an end-of-year Christian youth gathering in my community.
That day became the greatest turning point of my life because it marked the beginning of my personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
During the gathering, I listened to a powerful message by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi titled "Eternity Is Near." As the Word of God was preached, the Holy Spirit deeply convicted my heart. I realized that life on earth is temporary and that every person must one day stand before God to give an account of his or her life.
When the invitation was given to surrender to Christ, I knelt down with tears in my eyes. With a broken and repentant heart, I confessed my sins before God and asked the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive me and cleanse me with His precious blood.
I sincerely repented and made a complete U-turn from sin, Satan, sensuality, and worldliness. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour and determined to follow Him for the rest of my life.
That day, the Lord forgave my sins, gave me peace in my heart, and transformed my life. From that moment, I began a new journey of walking with Christ through prayer, Bible study, holiness, obedience, and Christian fellowship.
My desire became to know God more, to live according to His Word, and to serve Him faithfully.
Looking back today, I can boldly testify that the decision I made on 29th December 1989 remains the best decision of my life. God has preserved me, taught me His ways, and graciously called me into the ministry of the Gospel. Every opportunity I have to preach, teach, and lead others to Christ is a testimony of His saving grace and faithfulness.
I give all the glory to God for His mercy, love, and transforming power.
My prayer is that everyone who reads this testimony will also surrender completely to Jesus Christ, for truly, eternity is near, and there is no greater joy than being born again and living for the Lord.
