They had already announced that Jairusβs daughter was dead. The house was filled with weeping, sorrow and hopelessness. To everyone present, the situation was completely over.
But then Jesus entered the room.
He did not argue with the mourners. He did not surrender to the report. He simply spoke:
βTalitha koumβ β βLittle girl, I say unto thee, arise.β
At the sound of His voice, death released its grip. Her eyes opened, strength returned to her body, and she immediately arose!
The same Jesus is still speaking today. When His voice enters a hopeless situation, impossibilities surrender. What people have concluded is finished can still rise again by the power of His Word.
Your dream may appear dead.
Your marriage may seem beyond restoration.
Your health may have received a frightening report.
Your business or ministry may look buried.
But one word from Jesus can change everything!
May every good thing that has become lifeless in your life hear the voice of Jesus and arise again, in His mighty name. Amen! ππ₯
