Topic: Theme interpretation (ROOT)
Text: Col 2:7 & Psalm 1:3

Introduction
Root is defined as the source of every plant. However root can also been seen as origin, spring, foundation, source or beginning of a thing. Root is sometimes synonymous with stability. Psalm 80:9, Prov 12:3 Man cannot be established through wickedness but the righteous cannot be uprooted. Deep sincking root into the ground also pictures prosperity. Prov 12:12b "the root of the righteous flourishes". The scripture also says the righteous will floirish lŕ³ike a palm tree.

So the life of righteousness makes us rooted and bulit-up in Christ. The seed that fails to get deeper root mirrors those whos commitment to Christ is questionable. Mathew 13:6 "plants were withered because of the scorching sun because they have no roots". Roots determines what the plant become. A root is a place where something begins to move or flow.

David recognised God as his source Psalm 34:4. Evil also have a source Matthew 5:29. But the power of Jesus knows all sources and can dry any source of evil. Jesus is the foundation upon which the church stand. The root therefore cam be as bedrock upon which everything rests.

The nature of the root, is the nature of the branches, the nature of branches determines the fruitfulness. Your root matters, your source matters, your origin matters because they speak about classification.

‭_Luke 19:8 And Zacchæus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold._
Anytime one wants to cross from one country to another either by air or land, there is this reminder to check your luggage incase there is any exhibit that will cause the officer not to stamp your passport. Introspect is self examination. Before you get to the check point between Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, can you do a self examination, incase you find unforgiveness and the likes, drop it.

1. Thank you Lord for the journey of 2025, it's been you and it shall continue to be you.
2. The Spirit of the Lord purge out of your life anything that will not allow you to crossover gloriously in Jesus name.
3. By the intervention of the outstretched arm of the Lord you shall not crossover empty handed in Jesus name. Amen

RETROSPECT
‭Psalms 124:2-3 NIV‬ [2] if the Lord had not been on our side when people attacked us, [3] they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us.

RETROSPECT is to do a mind look back or think back in search for the acts of God and the inputs of men in past events and experiences. Positive RETROSPECT is an attitude of focused people and grateful people. RETROSPECT prompts songs of praise, new strategy and new strength to move. Do a positive personal or family RETROSPECT of 2025 and write just 12 statements beginning with "if it had not been the Lord, ...."

1. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, halleluyah amen.
2. The Lord is with you like a strong tower you are safe and secure from all alarm.
3. In the name of the Lord there shall be no carryover of blessings, receive your portion and possess your possession in Jesus name
