FOCUS PART 3
If God is to influence my focus, How do I know it my choice is from God and of God?

God is a communicator per excellence. He speaks all the time. Many miss God because they are expecting the miraculous, complicated, audible voice. Some expect some floggings like masquerades.

Revelation 3:19-20 Those whom I [dearly and tenderly] love, I tell their faults and convict and convince and reprove and chasten [I discipline and instruct them]. So be enthusiastic and in earnest and burning with zeal and repent [changing your mind and attitude].
[20]Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.

He speaks to your inner man mostly . He uses nature, people, occurrences, impression, peace, etcetera to get your attention.

In Summary, if you have difficulty hearing God, one formular does not fail, it is, intimacy.
INTERACTION is the mother of INTIMACY.

GLEANINGS from yesterday's teaching
Habakkuk 2:1-2
Prophet Habakkuk had issues with when and how God judged the sin of Judah. He forgot that, Gid is the almighty. His limited sense of reasoning Got him perplexed but he made a wise decision to wait for what God's response will be to his questions.

Since focus is, pay attention to a particular thing, then, how you arrive at the object of focus is very key. under this series, we will look at; the God factor, the Goal factor and the Gut factor.

Yesterday was on the God factor. I said, many things can inform our decisions of what to focus on in 2021 and they could sound very logical and intelligent, but could they be the real deal?

However, there is an unpopular but wiser way to get the centre of focus right. This is hearing from God what assignment he has for you this year and the adjustments to make in all areas of your life.

Oh but God gave me brain so, am I suppose to abandon that and be disturbing God? No sir/ma. Infact, it is part of the brain that should push us to God admitting we are limited in all things but he is limitless. In his limitless capacity, we can trust Him to help us see farther and navigate through and be abreast of life issues.

Good has been an enemy of God’s will overtime. That it is good may not mean it is from God or it is the best choice for someone at the moment. Good is what God ratifies per time.

The Bible asks us to be wise. Many people are deceived by results. They argue that, unbelievers get far better results than believers without knowing Christ and taking instructions from the holyghost.

My answer is; may be the reason for your observation is because believers act too wise for God. God has more wisdom than all men put together and he wants us very rich for kingdom suppose.

Secondly, , that it yielded results does not mean it is heaven sponsored. It could be a trap to lure one into destruction. Beware.

Finally, ask, seek and knock because you will get results like Habakkuk got. please Pay the price to hear from God first on what to focus on this year, 2021. Don't run in vain. Don't waste all the energy of staying FOCUSED on what is not worth it. 2021 has began, be among the WISE.

FOCUS PART 2
Focus is defined as the center of interest or activity or what you pay particular attention to. To some persons, staying focused is not so hard but to some, it is a herculean labour.

Today, I am looking at, how you generate your "CENTRE OF ATTENTION"

There are various aspects of human life and a number of them say for example, health and finance or any other ones could generate our focus depending on individuals or organizations.

However, mankind in his wisdom must not forget to hinge his FOCUS on the most important. To the focused, please get it right and to the unfocused, people learn wisdom. May we not run through the year in vain.

FOCUS PART 1
Every new year comes with her magic of stirring every one to want to start afresh. A feeling of doing it differently and the desire to be better. However, life has taught us a few lessons that, Wishes are not horses that everyone could ride at will.

In addition, some persons went far and beyond mere wishes and desires for greater, applying right principles and they indeed got some results.

Bravo for the results. But the point is: Does getting results equal to doing what God wants and how God wants it?
When you work certain principles you get certain results but, a man's life does not consist of only his possessions and results.

I know we want to concentrate all our energy on something but, will it worth it later? Will it be pleasing to the maker which should be our utmost question this year. Energy expended could be a waste if it's misdirected, for their is a way that looks wise to a man but the end wont justify the means., Proverbs 14:12.
