“Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭112‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬).

Hallelujah! The Lord is good and greatly to be praised. The declaration of the promises of God like this as we see in the scripture for today not only gives a soothing relief but really gives Joy unspeakable, peace of mind and all round happiness. The scripture is clear, succinct and very straight to the point as it declares that there is reward for righteousness to us and even to our descendants and unborn generations. The psalmist starts by praising God, then he goes on to say that there's blessings in fearing Yahweh and anyone who delights in God's commandments will be have the blessings even to our descendants as we will be mighty on the earth and receive generational wealth and riches.

The clear understanding of this scripture makes us align our path and ways in what God delights. To be honest, doing the will of God and ensuring we do not succumb to the pressures of life, temptations or even falling into sin is very important. I have seen the Lord's goodness, His mercies and compassion as I have served the Lord wholeheartedly and even enjoyed God's goodness as a result of being a descendant of faithful believers. The word of God is always sure and will find fulfillment in our lives when we follow and obey God's commandments.

Today is the first day of the first full week in the month of November and God has been good and kind to all of us in one way or the other as we read and reflect on this write up. We must all be thankful to God for keeping us alive and have magnificent plans for us and I know this because of the promises we find in the Word of God. I pray for the continuation of God's goodness, mercies and protection over our lives. Relax it is well. Remain ever blessed, AMEN!

The new month is here and it's the eleventh month, November the penultimate month to the end of the year. The number 11 is significant because it is also the number of the members of football team on a pitch with the aim of winning a match. I pray we shall continue to win every battle, surmount every obstacle and rise above every problem/challenge of life. I wish us a peaceful and blissful month, Happy New Month.

“Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬).

This month of October, in all the weekly motivational posts most of my write ups, my heart has been filled with thanksgiving, in fact I've literally initiated the attitude of gratitude in all of my actions and activities, making it a lifestyle. In the scripture for today Apostle Paul is admonishing the believers to have a pressing desire to continue earnestly in prayer. He then went on to give the best advice an Apostle can give his listeners, that is we must be vigilant in earnest prayers with thanksgiving. This is a practise of giving thanks to God for all He has done and because He is good and kind to us, and for His mercies that never ceases.

The ability to develop a habit stems from frequent practise and routine repetition of an action or activity. As believers, we must all remember to give thanks unto the Lord as ensure we make it a lifestyle. The reason we give thanks is not to receive but to appreciate our creator for all He has given us and provided to us for our all round wellbeing. We must ensure that we thank God for all He is done, knowing fully well He will never fail us. When we pray, let us endeavour to give thanks to God as seen in the perfect example of the Lord's Prayer that was imbedded in Thanksgiving.

It's the final week in the month of October and we will herald the new month sometime this week. It has been an interesting month and as the days go by we can only be rest assured in God infinite mercies that cannot fail us. The Lord has been marvellous in many ways and means, we must all ensure we praise Him and give Him thanks always. I pray for God's continuous abundant Grace, Love and Mercies over our lives. Remember to always have an attitude of gratitude. Remain ever blessed, AMEN!

Have you heard of the Fresh Oil, it is the Anointing that can distinguish you and enlarge your coast like it did for David,... in 1 Samuel 22:2 he was head over about 400 men, in 2 Samuel 2:4 he was king of Judah, in 2 Samuel 5:3 he was king of the whole of Israel,.. in Mark 10:46-52 he was recognized in the lineage of the King of kings Jesus Christ (also in Matthew 1, talking about Jesse),.. The anointing made David's coast enlarged, same can happen to you, if you believe *Fresh Oil*

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28‬:‭7‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬).

Still on the topic of Thanksgiving to God, today's scripture is giving a more personal perspective as a reason we give thanks. The psalmist here was so thankful to God because of how the Lord had helped him overcome. We can easily tell it's King David because he is so appreciative of all the victories God has enabled him to get because he was a man of many wars. The scripture goes The Lord is my strength (my power, source of energy) and shield (protector, guide and weapon) so therefore, my heart fully trusts in Him as He will greatly help me. Therefore, I will rejoice greatly in Him and sing praises to His name. (Emphasis mine).

In life, many people put their trust in different deities or materials, and what works for them is what they believe in wholeheartedly. There is a song that goes - if anyone tries to harm me, tries to hurt me or even thinks bad about me will have to give answer God's judgement because I have backing, this means that we have the power of God as long as we trust in Him and put our faith in Him. I personally trust in the name of God, He is my shield and strength and I know He is strong and mighty.

This is the last full week in October and it's interesting we are already rounding up the month, and even seeing the end of the year approaching fast. I am happy about the goodness, mercy and love of God and I do not take for granted His marvellous grace in my life. As you can read this, God is able to guide and protect us continually if we put our trust in Him and Him alone without wavering in fear. I wish everyone of us a blessed life and may God come through for us every time. Remain ever blessed, AMEN!

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭1‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬).

Thanksgiving is defined in many descriptions as an act of showing appreciation and gratitude to God. In the scripture for today, the Psalmist was in awe of the love and kindness of God that he exclaims that it should be a regular thing to give thanks to the Lord because not only that He is good but also because His mercies endures forever (it is unfailing, everlasting and long lasting). There are always reasons to be thankful because as human beings and as creations of Yahweh, we ought to thank God for His great works, for saving and delivering us (every time) from the hands of the wicked ones.

Many nations of the world have an earmarked day to just be in solemn reflection to thank God and also be in a celebratory mood to dine and visit family, friends and acquaintances in thanking God. Today is the Thanksgiving day in Canada and just as it's officially declared a public holiday, the government marks today as a time to be grateful to God, also many people just bask in the euphoria and excitement of family fellowship and reunion.

It's another working week in the month of October and this is literally the middle of the month and it's so fast and gliding speedily to the end of the year. We must always show appreciation to God and must be ready to tell the world that God is good, kind and His mercies endures forever. I wish everyone marking today as a thanksgiving day or just everyone else seeing this continued to peace of mind and happiness, may the Good Lord continue to protect us and grant us all round prosperity. Remain ever blessed, AMEN!

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In life, there are instructions, there are advices and there are admonitions. In the scripture for today, Apostle Paul was earnestly admonishing the Christian community to fervently be chastised, copious and outrightly holy towards God. The word beseech is defined as an urgent call to ask someone to do something and that is the actual tone of the message from Apostle Paul. As I'd paraphrase, the scripture for today implores us to present our bodies a living sacrifice that must be holy and acceptable to Yahweh. Thereby ensuring we do not conform to the world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds and this will therein make us stay in the perfect will of God.

You will gain a deep understanding of the Scripture for today, Romans 12:1-2 by focusing on its significance within the broader context and full explanation of Paul's letter to the Romans (as seen in many other instances). But this passage urges believers to offer themselves as living sacrifices, emphasizing that true worship extends beyond rituals and religious regimented activities but doing the act of worship to encompass everyday life, as often as possible.

Today is the first Monday in the Month of October and it's another time to start off the week with confidence and full energy. I know many people are always thankful to God for His grace but we all, I mean everyone that can see this must ensure we are grateful to God and master the act of worship as a lifestyle. I pray for the continuation of God's mercy, grace and love. I wish you a splendid week and a prosperous rest of the year. Remain ever blessed, AMEN!

01/10/2024

The month of October is here, it is the 10th month representing completion. October is synonymous with automatic solution, orchestration of divine intervention and all round compensation from Yahweh Himself. I pray for a blessed month and a fulfilling rest of the year. God is Able. Happy New Month!

“Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭124‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬).

We can only get true deliverance through the mercies of Yahweh Himself. God always protects those who come to Him for divine guidance. The scripture for today talks about escape. This means to get freed from a reproach or snare. In the explanation in the scripture, we are likened to a bird because many times the bird is lured into a trap and a snare confines the bird in a cage waiting for his capture. But when the snare is broken, alas the bird escapes and experiences freedom once more and this divine intervention we crave for as humans can only be ignited by our total trust and belief in God in times of crisis.

The sentence - Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers used in the scripture defines our soul is like a bird for many reasons; but in this case the point of likeness is weakness, folly, and the ease with which it is lured into the snare. Fowlers have many methods of taking small birds, and Satan has many methods of entrapping souls. We must be mindful of the whims, caprices and tricks of the enemy to entice us and eventually trap us through sin, addictions and disobedience to the directives of God.

Today's the last day in September and it's has been an interesting 30 days all over the world. Scripturally, we believe and affirm that better is the end of a matter than the beginning. And I proclaim we are supernaturally favoured and shall continue to receive the full mercies of God. I pray for divine guidance, divine protection and the grace to escape any snare we might be entrapped in. I wish us all a great month of October ahead and the rest of the year. Remain ever blessed, AMEN!

Man like Papa! Bishop David Oyedepo at 70. I celebrate the founder and lead Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide (aka Winners Chapel) and Chancellor of my alma mata, Covenant University. The life of papa has been guided by principles of service and faith in God, visionary exploits and trailblazing wonderful proofs. I have many stories of my encounters with papa - personal and from afar, but I must say, his teachings, admonitions and prayers have been a strong guide in my life. He remains dear to my heart and I know that Yahweh will continue to bless him abundantly, keep him in good health and grant him long life and lead him through his path to success and fulfillment of purpose. Love you sir. Happy birthday Papa eagle,...

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬).

The scripture for today is more of an admonition than just an advice. To be honest, we must understand that we would all reap what we sow. Hence, the habit of giving is more of an advantage for us all than to be considered a burden. The scripture around this chapter in Galatian was pointing towards being generous and to be good. In the verse we are analyzing today, in paraphrasing it, we can see that we are advised not to grow tired, weary and fed up doing good because in due season, we will get in multiple folds what we have given to people especially when we remain consistent and not slowing down. Then we are also encouraged to give to those of the household of our faith - ministers, congregants and so on.

Christians have an opportunity to do good, the ability to take the chances to help others and in doing that, they fulfil the Bible teaching of not growing weary in doing good. The 'good' we seek to do to others, implies doing good and caring for the physical, mental and spiritual well being of people. Do good continually. We must note that if we resist feelings of discouragement, we will receive the beneficial outcomes of our hard work if we don't give up. There are crowns in heaven assigned as rewards, we must persevere in giving so as to receive the rewards from God Himself.

We are in the final full week of September and indeed it has been a month to remember. I have always continued to pray for God's mercies, grace and blessings. I know that God is good and kind to us all and we must reciprocate the goodness of God into the lives of others as we give. I pray for the continuation of God's love, protection and guidance over our lives. We must endeavour to give and in doing so, with a willing heart and not expecting anything in return, don't worry God will reward us bountifully. Remain ever blessed, AMEN!

“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16‬:‭10‬ ‭(NKJV‬‬).

This passage of scripture was said by Jesus Christ Himself in one of His teachings, he had to explain that we all must be faithful stewards. We must all endeavour to be managers of time, money and resources, then there's the aspect of being mindful of our spiritual lives as it relates to honesty and stewardship. The Bible states as I would paraphrase that one who is faithful in what is little, not much, inconsequential, that person would also be an effective manager of many things and surplus resources. Then we must also realize that even as it relates to sin; swindling or cheating people, he who is unjust in what is least, would also be unjust in what is much.

This Gospel passage in the scripture for today warns us that if we are not faithful in this life with the things of this world and the riches we have been given by God our provider, then we will not be faithful with the true riches promised to us in heaven. As Christians, we must show our faith in God also in the area of our finances, money, and possessions. We must act as if we have God as our chief executive and must answer to His guidance, dictates and rules. We must abhor wasteful living and be productive in all we do.

We must also be givers and help others in need and must ensure that we give to the propagation of God's Kingdom on earth. Today is the official beginning of the second half of the month of September 2024. It has been an interesting season as personally I feel the year has moved incredibly fast. As always, I pray that we all shall experience God's peace, all round blessings and protection. Remember to always to faithful in all you do and trust only in Yahweh. Remain ever blessed, AMEN!
