Today, we celebrate our beloved nation, Nigeria, and we honour the journey, sacrifices, resilience, courage, and hopes of a people who continue to believe in the greatness of this nation.

Happy Independence Day to every Nigerian!
From the North to the South, East to the West, we celebrate Nigeria our nation, our home, our inheritance. 🇳🇬 💚

Yet, beyond the celebrations, we recognise the realities confronting our nation: economic hardship, rising costs of living, broken systems, insecurity, strained relationships, unemployment, and the many burdens carried by families and individuals.

Therefore, on this Independence Day, we do not only celebrate Nigeria; we lift Nigeria before God.

Our Father and our God,

We acknowledge that You are the Sovereign Ruler over the nations.

There is a dimension of our walk with God where we move beyond merely knowing about divine reality to actually living from it and expressing it among men. 🔥
Hebrews 12:22-24 | 2 Peter 1:4 | 1 John 4:17 | Job 22:29

We are partakers of the Divine Nature.
We carry the life of Christ.
We are called to manifest the reality of Heaven in our earthly environment.

“As he is, so are we, in this world.” 1 John 4:17

This is why Divinity must operate through mortality.

When men are cast down, there should be vessels through whom God brings lifting.
When there is darkness, there should be light.
When there is confusion, there should be divine wisdom.
When there is brokenness, there should be the expression of Christ.

📖 “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up…” — Job 22:29

🔥 Heavenly reality must produce earthly expression.
