THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT PART 12.
MEMORY VERSE: Jere. 33:6, "Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth ".
We will be looking at the various ways Jesus ministered healings to people.
Jesus believed in bodily healing. In Mark 2:9, "When Jesus heard it, he said unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance ".
Ministry of Jesus, includes to heal the broken hearted, recovery of sight to the blind, amongst other aspects.
The church of the Acts of Apostle and the present church are still on the mission set out by our Lord Jesus Christ Luke 4:18.
In Jesus ministry, he draws from the faith of those needing healing or the faith of those close to them. In Mark 5:34, Jesus said "Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace, and be whole of thy plague ".
May the Lord help you to nurture your faith to the point where it will attract healing unto your soul in Jesus name.
Jesus healed some people by assuring them of forgiveness of their sin. In Mark 2:5, the bible says "When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son thy sins be forgiven thee".
Since sin is the foundation of sickness it is important for sins to be confessed and repented from, for healing to be accessed. 2Chron 7:14, says, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray,and seek my face,and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins and heal their land".
May you fulfil the conditions for your prayers to be heard and answered in Jesus name.
Jesus healed some people by touching them. In Matt 8:3, the bible says "And Jesus put forth his hand and touched him saying, I will, be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was clean.
May the Lord touch you to clean you from every manner of leprosy in Jesus name.
Now pray for yourself:
O'Lord my God, help me to nurture my faith to the point of receiving divine healing in Jesus name.
O'Lord my God, give me total and genuine repentance from every sin in Jesus name.
O'Lord my God, let the touch of God that will bring mercy and goodness continually be upon me in Jesus name
Thank you Father, for answering all my prayers in Jesus name
